  • Got one.. would been better with integrated Lightning Cable which is more expensive

  • That's a very short cable, would have limited usage.

    • i rekon its better used at a power bank with a normal cable.. reviews say can charge device 3-4 times on one cycle so its worth $20. wouldnt pay more 50-70 what other shops want tho

The idea is that you can hold your phone + power bank in one hand while charging.

      • Exactly how I will be using the two I just bought. There are now two left in the cabinet at Target Launceston.

    Is it microUSB input only?
edit: confirmed Input: Micro USB 5V 2.1A = no deal. don't want to carry another cable/adapter just to charge it

    • +1

Ridiculous. USB-C is the new standard; it sucks having to carry an additional cable just to charge these.

    • Damn, I was keen but that does kinda sour it.

    • +1

why do u have to carry it.. charge it up at home and pop it in ur bag to use when u need juice..

      • Agreed. I can't think of a situation where I would need to recharge the power bank when I'm out and about. I think it would make better sense to have a USB-C input to charge it but it definitely isn't a deal breaker for me. They come with a short micro-USB cable which is handy because I only have about a dozen short micro-USB cables from other power banks and devices.

    • +1

Damn, that might be a deal breaker for me. Should have just been USB C input too.

  • Might want to think about what happens if the cable gets damaged by wear or accident. It may render the whole thing useless.

    • The USB type A port can charge a device as well

    • Features 2.1 Amps with 1 x USB-C port and 1 x USB-A port so the integrated cable isnt the be all and end all.. can use Usb-C or A lighting cable with it for Iphone users

    • I have close to 20 of these cables lying around from different devices. Not bad if you plan to use these while travelling.

  • How much does delivery cost?

Great find OP, got one as C & C for $10, used 2,000 FlyBuys points to save $10. This is good value for only 10 bucks

I wonder if the missus will notice I've used some of her FB points….. I don't think she'll be impressed if she finds out I've used them for another Ozbargain inspired Powerbank purchase

  • Great find. I've been wanting something smallish like this, perfect for single or two day trips.

  • How does it compare with this:

    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-10000mah-18w-textured-pow…

$25 incl delivery; USB-A and C ports, 10000mAh, QC3.0 and 18W PD, but no integrated cable.

    • $25.99. 30% more cost. 25% more capacity. A full charge on the phone generally gets me through the day so I won't get any benefit from the extra capacity.

I'd rather have the integrated cable if I'm carrying it in my pocket. Others, as per comments above, would prefer to use a longer cable.

I have no devices that use PD. QC would be nice but is not essential for how and when I'll be using this. Some would consider a lack of PD and/or QC to be a deal breaker.
