  I managed to pick up the aldi one for 9.95 the other day…
  I think I prefer that one as the probe is detachable and has a long cord.

    Kinda apples and oranges - yours if for continous monitoring, this is for probing, right?

    BTW, I own the one from this deal and it's alright. I try not to use the built-in bottle opener, because I'm afraid it's going to break. It has a magnet, so I stick it to the fridge. Next to a magnet full-time bottle opener.

    Inkbird is more professional. For normal family use. It's the same thing, but our price is better.
