      Usually for local media play so say you don't want to connect to your phone or whatever you can just play your media locally with no Bluetooth connection you just have to store the files on a micro sd card and then insert the micro sd card into the headphones then press play.

      I have honestly forgotten about dedicated MP3 players it's been awhile but I still remember my high school 256mb MP3 player I got as a present like 15 years ago it was ahead of its time it had a really useful led display and some cool playback features but best of all it could charge via usb so didn't need batteries which still today is not a universal thing though many devices have caught up with inbuilt rechargeable batteries but back then it was such an unknown feature I felt like I was living in the future.

      It weighed also about the same as a usb stick maybe a bit thicker which is still better than carrying a 2020 phone.

      Sometimes the past has some great stuff we left behind or just forgot about.

      Good resource for aspiring pioneers and innovators.

      The past is full of overlooked and missed opportunities still available today.

        yeah i agree this looks like a very good feature to have especially for people taking it for a run in the park without bringing their phone or not connect it to their smart watch.

        Rather than a cheap headphone they seem like innovators. If this is not something that has been done before, i would buy their stocks and support it. This seem like a very practical feature that a lot of devices should have.

          Yeah actually I bet that this was the intended purpose of the sd card slot in headphones.

          Honestly not surprised why no manufacturer has tried making a headphone smartphone like very basic simplistic maybe just for receiving calls and some texting.

          Free up your pocket space and just carry a headphone with you instead.

    I bought the wireless earphones in January and they were well under par. I had to return them. They drop out after 15 mins, and the microphone was rubbish.
