Well it must be working because otherwise they would change the advertising strategy.

    • When you get this guerrilla, its a scorched earth strategy. You either hit it hard or you fail miserably to get sign ups. Either way you're going to grab PR.

  • Great branding initiative, lousy theme. But then again, don't 6 year olds already flip the bird?

    Gotta teach them young!

I'm on the fence people - to get circle.life :(

    What's the horror stories?

Only a PITA to port out. Not all the time, but it could be. Includes actual issues with porting your number out (so youre missing deals). To being charged for months even though you've ported out. I've heard someone lost their number but I dont think this is common

I've been using it for nearly 2 months now. No issues with speeds or connectivity on the rare occasion I've left the house and wifi. I switched from Telstra so I had high expectations for Circles and so far it's been great.

I've used circle life for about 7-8 months and only ported out recently. My sister still uses it and I signed my mum up back when it was a 4 month free trial. Everything has been pretty smooth. I ported out my number with no issues whatsoever and terminating my mums account b4 the end of the free trial was also hassle free. Customer support is all online chat, but I probably prefer this over those Indian call centres. Wait time was short most of the time and they were able to promptly solve my issues pretty much every time. Unlike Telstra, there's no pro rata rate when you port out. So even if you port out on the first day of the month, you will still get billed for the remaining days of that month. It's in the T&Cs.

I only left because of a promo offer that was posted here, not because I was unhappy with the service.

      • Alright team, I'll bite the bullet and keep a wary eye on porting out :/

You are obviously not their target demographic.

  • A-well-a don't you know about the bird?

    • Well, everybody knows that the bird is the word!
