Ever wanted to take a selfie or group photo, but your arm or selfie stick isn't long enough or the front camera isn't as good as the rear one?

Anyways - saw this tripod with a detachable smartphone clamp.
Teds has it at $34.95 https://www.teds.com.au/rotolight-rotopod-with-phone-clamp
AmazonAU $49.00 (WTF?!) https://www.amazon.com.au/Rotolight-Tripod-RL-ROTOPOD-Genuin…

A (ok?) clamp sells for $16.15, so not much more with a tripod.

or Bigw has a "Laser" one for $9.95 (every day price), not sure how it compares.

      Lol, that one looks like a toy. You get what you pay for, the OP one looks like a Manfrotto alternative

      • Can confirm.

        Had a cheapie like that and the plastic swivel mount is very fragile.

        Look at it funny and it breaks.

  • I have the Big W laser one, quite solid, but I haven't tried other brand, so can't compare

  • Just note if you want this for selfies it is landscape only.

    • the big w laser one can do portrait as well

  • Got one from BigW or similar for under $20 and it 's built solid. I took it on a cruise without any problems. Also used it to hold my $2500 D750 camera. Very stable.

      why would anyone care to know you have a $2500 camera?

        Why would you stick an expensive camera on the cheapest mini tripod you could find lol

        • Hey give him some credit, he prob bought it for his phone and also used it for his camera as a test. No different than $2000 iPhone in a $1 case

            @UberIsCool: I also don't understand that :)
            Along with people who buy expensive cars and buy the cheapest crap tyres they can find :)
