Normally I would concur, but am currently having a (spinal) crack at The Complete One Hour Perfect Posture Habits Course.

Never spent so much time in a chair as I have in the last ~4 months and I'm starting to resemble an upright croissant.

      • Better than going to Uni I say. Costs no money if you never actually Udemy start but enrolled cost $

    • What are the free resources via uni sites?

      • +1

MIT and Stanford have some amazing resources in the computer science area as well as recorded lectures on yt

    • They are actually not bad, usually. They are not made by udemy employees, not most of them anyway, but they are made by people who choose to make them and have them on udemy. Youtube tutorials are great but what's the harm in having all the free videos on udemy AND all the free ones on youtube? Having someone explain the same thing in a different way can be very helpful. And they actually try, if their course is popular and becomes the defacto popular course for whatever it is, then they could make a lot of money. If the course is crap they might make a little money but they will never become the defacto most popular course for a subject.

I actually wish I had access to all the tutorial sites for free. I wouldn't pay for one, but udemy has so much for free why complain.

I like the thumbnail for the negotiate a raise with your boss course; the boss is stopped low, his hands clenched together, pleading with the employee. It must be a very effective course!

    • +1

No that's the employee begging. You can clearly see his peers laughing at him. ;-) The boss is the guy with his back to you.

  • "Ultimate PHP, Laravel, CSS & Sass! Learn PHP, Laravel & Sass"

Excellent post, just went through the course "Salary Negotiation - How to Ask for and Receive a Pay Raise" in under one hour, and now I'm probably the toughest staff

    • So did you ask ya employer yet.

Just incase you forget to reply, shame on you.

      • btw, i'm the boss

        • So you the boss of your self nice, how much did ya pay your self.

  • Ahh JavaScript, hmmm what could be learnt from it in today's day and age.

JavaScript has gone through so many revisions in the last decade, almost two.

  • How to ask for a payrise - is that some sort of joke?
Showed a few people here at work, and tears are flowing from laughter

    • +1

Great Now you can make a course on udemy called how to make your peers at work laugh.
