New Casual Gaming PC (under 2k)

Hey all,

So I've been checking out all these tech fast deals lately and wanting to get myself a new PC (don't have the time or patience to DIY).

Aaand I have no idea how the difference in parts of these builds is in terms of graphics for gaming.

It would just be casual stuff, no FPS but I would like to run games ideally on top settings, I want my games to look good.

I already have a few Samsung Evo SSDs that I'll add into it but I'm hoping for some advice so I'm not just going for the most expensive of their builds if I don't have to.

Cheers,

Bit of an overkill with CPU if casual gaming I think. Ryzen 5 3600 and should not be the bottle neck for games.

PC would also need a PSU. 80+ gold and a reputable brand shouldn't be too expensive.

Buy as per caped baldy's comment. Need more info on general type of games and if going for a silent build.

    • These parts I'd just be using static ice to find best price, get it all myself for a computer shop to build yeah?

I don't see that gpu in any of the techfast builds, is it just a slightly older one?

  • So what type of games(RTS, MOBA, driving games)? Are those m.2 or 2.5" Samsung evos?

Are noise and size issues? Do you need storage for media?

It's pretty straightforward to DIY and most computer shops will build for a fee.

Do you have a monitor already?

    • TIL I can't edit comments.

      Yes its the 2.5"

  • Games probably the odd racing title, maybe ESO, definitely Moba, and whatever open world sandbox style games hold my attention like ark/no man's land

Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SATA III SSD from a deal awhile ago. I presume they're 2.5" but I will find out for sure and edit comment.

Noise and size aren't issues. Storage isn't an issue for media.

New monitor is preferred and would be on top of the $2k budget I've set for the pc.
