  • how much is it usually?

    • I believe they've released a new model, but they were $220odd

  • I've got one of these and like it. Only downside is no aux input and cannot link other speakers. Can however link it through google assist products as usual. Decent 360 sound for the price!

Usually takes 30seconds+ to connect to wifi

      Initial set-up or every time?

  • I've got a link 20 and its honestly a bit hit or miss. Drops connection pretty often, slow startup, bluetooth is finnicky as hell and I have to delete/repair all the time.

Sounds great but I'd shoot for the new model if I was looking now.

    • My Link10 has developed this thing where the audio just stops working and you have to reboot it. Pretty irritating if you were planning on using it as an assistant

    • I had loads of problems with mine. Constantly losing connection. In the end it died and after 20 plus emails to JBL they sent me the newer version which is more reliable.

      • Interesting. Yeah I had a lot of issues with mine, plus the battery holds zero charge now. I've given up on it and prefer the Nest Minis in general

    • i have a link 20, the first one had a mic fault, but the second has been perfect.

Its a wifi speaker so we can add it to google home groups and use it as part of multiroom streaming. Its battery so handy outdoor or when camping. We have zero issues with connection and bluetooth. The only gripe i have is the boot time is annoying, especially if we are just using it while camping or as a bluetooth speaker.

  • +1

I got the link portable for $99 from big w and love it. It comes with wireless charging in the box is a treat. I think its still for $130 at HN. Would definitely recommend it
