  • noooo my wallet!

  • Personally, still deciding if I should get it now or wait until other retailers starts selling them (for further discount using GCs, etc).

    • I'm gonna go for it and rely on 28 degrees to cover me.

    • Is that the normal flow? I thought "Exclusive" was going to mean exclusive to the LEGO store? Or has that generally been a timed exclusive?

      • I'm not sure for Australia, but in US it also available for pre-order at other retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, etc.

  • +1

The bonus set "Super Mushroom Surprise Expansion Set (30385)" is also added when you add the NES to your cart.

  • Not enough of a GWP to buy for RRP. I'm sitting out for now

  • +1

That was fast…Already being sold on eBay for ~$500

    • +1

      Nintendo… way above RRP… post it as a deal. That’s 300 upvotes right there…

“BeiNg iN StOcK mAkEs iT a dEaL…”

Ah yes, the old pay $500 when it's still readily available at retail bargain.

Man I hope this thing never sell outs. This scalpers market is just insane these days.

    • Not yet. There's only one sold listing at $500 (before P&H).

It's better to look at completed listings over active ones, as it tells you if they really are selling well.

  • Grand Piano is also available now:

    https://www.lego.com/en-au/product/grand-piano-21323

Sadly the Bell Ospey is not :(

    • Been getting the news feeds on the Bell. What's the fascination with this set? Is it just because its a helicopter.

      • The fascination is because its been canceled last minute (which means there is stock out there but not a lot of it which in turn makes it rare which means people are trying to seek out any copies to then flip on eBay)

        • +1

But wait till you read the reason it was cancelled…

          • +2

@pegaxs: You won't believe what happened next

    • The piano looks crazy

  • Cool set. I’m hoping for a range of $20ea Mario kart racers. Would sell insane numbers, I think, as people collected a full set.

  • Cheeky buggers look to have pulled the pre-order bonus! That was short-lived!

  • Is this going to be available again?

    • LEGO Site has "Temporarily out of stock".

I believe in US, it also available at other retailers (such as Amazon, Best Buy, etc).

Is there a way to be notified when it comes back in stock? And are the Lego website the only retailer selling this item in Australia?

    Thanks.

Cheers, ordered one. That and the recent Mario releases have been my first foray into Lego investing.

  • Anyone still waiting on their order? A couple of people I know who ordered already received theirs, but i'm still waiting on mine and haven't received a shipping confirmation yet…

    • Ordered nearly two weeks ago and still "In Warehouse" apparently. What's more annoying is they said I wouldn't be charged until the item was shipped, and I was charged immediately and the item still in their (lazy) hands.

I want to get in contact with them but even that says you may wait up to a week to receive an email reply. Do they have one singular person working in that warehouse - and they rotate jobs between packing and answering phones? Awful. Just awful service.

    #Update 24/8: Back in Stock

    Out of stock now.

  • Is this set limited edition or something? And will other retailers eventually get stock?

    • According to a few articles I've read, they will eventually be available in other retailers in US. Not too sure in Australia.

  • Does the Lego AU website have a way to sign up for notifications of when items come back in stock or is manually checking the page everyday the only way?

    • brickhawk.com

    • +2

      it is available this morning

      • Thanks for that, what a nice coincidence haha. Or has it simply been available for 5 minutes every morning?

        • Been checking everyday 2-4 times a day since 24th august. Looks coincidental

        • Placed an order half an hour ago but still haven't received a confirmation email, and the lego order status page just comes up with an unexpected error ………..

          • @vawiyoci: I received my email almost straight away, but I get the same error when I check the order status page. Although I read it can take up to 24 hours before it becomes available in the status.

            • @Demarco: Well at least you got an email, I'm now wondering if my order actually even went through and whether I should just redo it before it goes out of stock again haha.

              • @vawiyoci: it is out of stock again, so good luck

                • @Demarco: All good, they finally sent through the order confirmation email before noon, saved me from making a double purchase.

  • Available for back order now

    • Double VIP points too. Not sure how much that's worth
