I've been tracking the price on this motherboard for the past 2 months. This is the lowest it has been since the COIVD shortages and the cheapest Mini-ITX of any B450/B550 boards right now. Added bonus of a rear USB C port makes it a pretty good deal in my eyes.

Buyer beware: stocks in mid August so you might not receive it till early September.

ASRock B550M-ITX/AC is also available for $211.20 +Delivery from Newegg AU, if you're specifically looking for a B550m ITX board, though I'm put off by some of the reviews.

    • $250 shipped, 20% more expensive

      • It is B550 though, newer series with pcie 4.0 etc, might be appealing to some at just 20% difference.

      • Shipping kills most newegg deals for me

  • This support gen 3 ryzen out of the box?

    • +1

Early reports show no but some of the more recent customer comments on various review sites say yes (there are even reviews on Amazon that confirm it'll work).

  • One of the best b450 motherboard out there!

Edited: I thought it was MSI b450 gaming. Much better vrm

The MSI board is also $201.59

      • No USB-C?

        • +1

Not many midrange (and high end) boards of the 400 series have USB C I thought

      • Exactly. High end vrm. Better than almost all ATX motherboard b450 out there

  • This or MSI gaming carbon 450 itx?

    • Edited

    • Would argue that the MSI is a better all round board but if you're looking for USB C for future proofing transfer speeds then the ASRock is the only one at this price point. Colour scheme may also be something you can consider since the MSI has red everywhere while the ASRock is a more neutral black/grey.

Still holding out for a deal on the Gigabyte B550-I.

    • Man I can't even find it in stock these days.

I think Amazon had it for like 10-15% more than everyone else.

      • +1

Amazon US had it for its actual RRP + delivery + GST = ~$298 AUD on pre-order when I checked it last night.

However, no cashback, no local warranty, and no date of actual availability though.

        Unfortunately, listed as unavailable now.

Matters not, there's 3-4 months until Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Christmas sales and I'm waiting for Rev 2.0 to come out anyway so I don't have to Bios Flash to support the new 4000 series Zen 3 CPUs

        • 4 months! But I'm bored now :(
