Looks like Breville is running a fathers day promotion.

$160 pack with the purchase of either BES990 or BES980 Coffee Machine which includes:

  • 4 bags of 250g Pablo & Rusty’s fresh coffee beans
  • 2 Bodum Dual Walled Cappuccino Glasses
  • 1 Breville Bean Keeper Coffee Cannister
  • 1 Breville Milk Jug Max in Stainless Steel

$118 pack with the purchase of either BEP920, BES880 or BES878 Coffee Machine which includes:

  • 4 bags of 250g Pablo & Rusty’s fresh coffee beans

Also just saw on TGG commercial they are selling a barista touch for $1199 which seems decent given the current circumstances. Obviously has been lower before.

  • Think the. Smart grinder when $189 and dual boiler at $680 would appeal and buy coffee of your choice …..
Haven't seen killer prices on either lately …..

I'm pretty sure you can't get the BES920 stand-alone anymore; the BEP920 with grinder bundled is what Breville is now offering, at an eye-watering RRP of $1699.

      • Do you have anything to support this? I've been hanging for a BES920 stand alone, but can't find any….

  • yeah, i've been looking for a dual boiler for a while… can't even find them on their own… and with the grinder cheapest i can find is $1600.

    no deal eddie

They weren’t able to fulfil the Mother’s Day promotion. I got a bag of beans (finally) last Friday - 1.5kg of beans. And another 1.5kg should be arriving in a month. No knock box or jug.

    • Looks like this new promotion has the same issue, delays are to be expected, gift packs may take up to a month or more to arrive as stock/supply is delayed from overseas.

Yeah same, I was hoping to get the knock box more than the beans.

      • Same here. Bit disappointed in the end. No deal really since the first lot of Pablo beans I received are meh.

Not to mention, on the redemption page in the tips it says "only buy as much beans as you can use in 2 weeks" - I'm the only one in my house that drinks coffee, and at 2-3 a day, i'm not getting through 1.5kg in 2 weeks. Even with a second person drinking I think i'd be hard pressed.

          • @zukand: Easy fix - drink more coffees and make them double shots.
            Then deal with the jitters.

    • same.. bought a Breville Barista Express in March and only received a bag of beans last week. There's a clause when you submit the application that says they can send something of equal value.

      • I got my first lot of beans last Thursday after a May purchase. Not a fan.

    • yeah same I got the 1.5kg of beans and they aren't great. It's a darker roast than I normally like.

I prefer the coffee beans I've been getting from Inglewood Coffee Roasters in Coburg (VIC).

Really disappointed I didn't get the Knock Box and Milk Jug - i bought a red knock box amazon instead and black stainless steel milk jug from ebay.

  • Got my beans too, ended up buying the mini black truffle knock box separately.

  • Mother's Day bonus was a flop. The excuse being they'd had so many purchases. After emailing numerous times I was finally rewarded with just the coffee beans.

  • Does anyone know how I get a commercial membership with good guys ?
    Thanks

  • Good spot only that the offer is for very high end machines. I am still regretting not have gone for the deal of BES870 $499-549 plus bags of beans back in April.
