  • Is this compatible with Apple home?

  • only E27 ? I have B22 holders. :(

  • Compatible with Tuya? Smart life app ?

  • Can the firmware be easily replaced with a firmware that does not require the Tuya cloud?

The Tuya cloud app requires the user to agree to terms and conditions that give permission to hand over information to the Chinese government. The standard Tuya app terms and conditions are quite preposterous, with a number of references to "the state" and following directives, not spreading misinformation and other stuff that is poorly translated and should not be forced on people (outside of China).

These Light Bulbs are controlled via the Inteli App available on google and apple app stores.

They have terms and conditions written in VIC by Inteli.

    • Any plans for a bayonet cap version?

      • +1 vote

Yes! New product launch in the coming months (delayed due to corona 😞)

You're welcome to add yourself to the product launch email list and we'll be sure to notify you when the B22's come out!
We'd also love to hear from you about product you would like to see in the future via the contact form or email - [email protected]
We take customer feedback and suggestions into large consideration when expanding our range.
        Thanks for your interest

    • Product page says 9.99?

    • Does it work on 5ghz networks? Or only 2.4ghz?

      •

        Only 2.4ghz

      • Why would you bother with 5GHz for a light bulb?
2.4 has better range, and bandwidth/congestion is not an issue.

Any plans for a Zigbee version? That would be nice.

        •

Thanks for the question! We don't have any current plans to launch a Zigbee version.

You're welcome to add yourself to the product launch email list and we'll be sure to notify you if we launch a Zigbee version.

I'd love to hear some feedback on your opinion of the benefits of Zigbee and preference to that over wifi. Feel free to contact me via the feedback form on our site if you are interested.

          Thanks

        • Because I work on a site where the admin refuses to put a 2.4ghz network on.

    • Any Home Assistant support for these?

    • Shipping included?

    • ** TOTAL WITH SHIPPING = $17.97 **

      No Bank Deposit option,
      No Cheque option,
      No Paypal option,
      No Bayonet version yet,
      Made in China,
Doesn't appear to be different to anything else on the market.

      Cheaper at Kmart.

      • Too expensive.
I will wait for a cheaper option.

      • And I'd place good odds those reviews on their website are fake. Really, only five star reviews? And so many of them talking about the "temperature" and "warm and cool" colours (which 90% of people neither know nor care about)? What are the odds?

And, every three weeks, rep expires the exact same deal to repost it and avoid OzB dupe protection. I don't think this product has ever been $29.99.

  • You already posted this deal this month (August 05) and did not specify an expiry date. As a general rule of thumb if you already have an existing deal that's still active you cannot re-post it until after at least 30 days have passed (from the date it was posted). You may repost the deal again next month (4th Sept)

Deal has been merged to preserve user discussions.
