I find that their delivery fee is significantly marked up

Delivery fee is higher than Ubereats typically for me, so only typically use it during promos (e.g. 30% off locals, restaurants with free delivery, etc).

Oh I completely forgot about Deliveroo.
Both Menulog and Uber Eats have at least 3x the amount of restaurants near me.

I completely forgot about them due to a lack of promotions and marketing activity.

Not only do they have super high delivery fees, marked up menu prices, but they also have pretty poor customer service too. Good luck to anyone who gets this bonus $5!

    • I've had good experiences with them. Ordered probably 5 - 10 times and no issues, Perhaps it's different in Perth. Delivery fees are comparable with menulog and slightly cheaper than ubereats. Mark up no more than those two either.

    • All the delivery services have marked up menu prices though, that's not Deliveroo-specific

      • Thanks Einstein you would too if you have to pay 30% to the delivery providers !

    • Always seem good to me too and its true about the massive chunk charged by these providers
