  • Is the rated capacity at 5V or 3.7V?
    Do they use 18650s?

    • Power bank capacities are measured at 3.7V like phones and tablets.

I believe they're 18650 except for the SW20, but I've asked Romoss for clarification.

Romoss have reported that they're all li-polymer.

That's interesting - I'd always assumed the SW20 and SW30 Pro were 18650 because of the size and weight. But I'm too cheap to crack one open to have a look so I'll just have to take Romoss's word for it :)

  • H, what the difference between the 20000 mak chargers?

    • The physical dimensions of the power bank.

  • Can you please confirm which is the latest version of the power banks. Romoss seem to have so many versions of the same thing

    • They're essentially all the same except for capacity. The 26800mAh is the newest out of the lot.

  • can the 26800mAh fast charge itself? How long does it take to charge itself from 0%?

    • 11 hours as per pictures

  • Would appreciate any deals on multi port USB chargers.

  • Trying to purchase 26800 but the price still comes up as $43 after the discount code.

    • So you apply the coupon, click the Use this payment method button and it still says $43?

  • Do any of these do pass-through charging?

Works for mine. I can have it on a charger while charging my phone.

          • @Clear: great. thanks.

          • @Clear: May I ask what is the different between SW20 and SW20PS+ ?

            Thank you!

@blacknblue: Identical in features but different physical dimensions.

    • They say yes but in my experience the pass thru is way slower than normal charging.

I wrote a longer post last time that explained it. I'll go find it.

      • thanks that'd be great if you can find.
I want to use for raspberry pi as a UPS…

  • Bought 2x SW20 on May last year, and shortly after the warranty finished, one of them had battery swollen to the point that the button cannot be clicked anymore due to swollen casing.
Never had any issue with other powerbanks. Not sure if this is a quality control issue.
