TetriNET - Multiplayer Tetris That Is Better than Tetris99

Anyone played TetriNET before? It's so much better than Tetris99, but yes, you'll need a computer. Guess what, there's a server that's still up. Who's up for a game?

For those who wants a game, download it here: https://www.tnet2.org/. Ignore the "Server Going Down" post. It's up and running now. Click Download on top right. It's safe.

For those that don't know, read more about it here: https://harddrop.com/wiki/Tetrinet2.

  • Wow. I was only talking to someone about this about a week ago. I used to play tetrinet in ranked leagues back in the day. This was about 15 or so years ago. Good to see that it’s still going. Might download it and play some for nostalgia and see if I’m still as MLG Pro as I was back in the day.

  • Played this in high school back in the late 90s.
Block quake or block bomb. Q or O were the nuts. Nuke Field acts like lives and Switch Field was sometimes handy

    • you knew what was coming… when someone's field started to go all out of whack. But what they didn't know is that you had your own switch power up to counter attack… XD

  • Another alternative if you can't download it.

    • Interesting but they don't have fun special blocks like TetriNET :(

    • Also Tetr.io

  • Quinn on OS X was always my favourite (taken down by whoever owned Tetris at the time and 32 bit so have to run it under emulation is you want Catalina or above), followed by the original Tetris I played on a Mac SE.

  • Wow blast from the past, like others .. I used to love the game in 90s
    Thanks for letting me reminisce!
