20% off all Suits at Roger David

60

Hey everyone,

Got this via email this morning. 20% off suits at Roger David.

Doesn't have an expiry day, only says "For a limited time only"

Also doesn't say if valid at all stores, if you have to mention anything to get the discount. So I suggest try visiting your local store and ask if they know anything about the VIP offer for 20% off suits.

Good luck

absolute garbage suits. shocking quality and poor fits, I bought one for my formal a few years ago but end up returning it and got a full wool one for $190 down from $700.

Not trying to be smart, but why did you but the suit in the first place then?

      • because I was in a hurry to find something and after reading online decided it did not fit properly. the staff wanted to make a quick sale and did not take the time to ensure it was a good fit.

        • Agreed, never buying another Roger David suit ever again. I have a few, and the fabric deteriorates extremely quickly compared to my other suits. Poor quality, you're better off going elsewhere.

If it aint 100% wool don't bother…unless you want to be a used car salesman.

Like I tell my boss, I don't take orders from a man in a polyester suit ;)

    • Yes, completely agree on 100% wool.

The only Roger David suit I've bought was for my high graduation several years ago and although the fit wasn't good (my fault for not knowing anything about suits though), the quality was pretty good. In fact, it's still good enough to wear now…just a bit baggy :P

      • Ah yes the high school formal suit. Mine is a dodgy 3 button polyester from 'Man-to-Man.'

Thanks to ozsale I now have a very nice collection of suits for a very reasonable price.

  • If you're in Sydney, Roger David has a discount shop @ Birkenhead Point, more like 50% off, great range. Also DJ's & about 50 other suit shops all at great prices for suits.

im actually looking for a suit at the moment, other than the birkenhead recommendation, does anyone have any other ideas?

price is not a problem really, well i say that meaning im not looking for something sub 100$, but nor am i gonna spend over 500$.

    thanks.

    • In the same position as redhat and any advice would be appreciated.

      Thanks

      • I got mine from witchery man on a big reduction go there and see what they have

otherwise a local tailor usually will make you a suit for $300-$400 for something basic. atleast it will fit.

      • Rhodes and Bekett - beautiful suits. When you buy a suit you want it to fit well and last. They are all 100% wool and under $700 I recall.
Alternatively country road is good for the price

        • I just took a look at the Rhodes and Beckett website, and their suits go for around $899 to $1200 per. Do you know if they have more on offer in store and at a lower price?

        • They had 50% off recently - check in store or try to negotiate

    • you could get one online www.indochino.com but I would be very cautious about this as it may not turn out as fitting as you may like (I would recommend it for people who have a few suits and not what sizing they will require).

    • I just bought a country road suit on special for $300 all in (2 trousers too..)

It was last seasons, further discounted and the pants were 50% at a DFO. It took some hunting around, but I am very happy with the deal.

I also signed up for the club membership dilio and got $50 off the purchase.

Country road also sell pants and jackets separately and make their suits from 100% wool (super 100s to super 130s, depending on the suit and cut).
