booksJust because this book is free it doesn't mean it's a good deal.
Reviews are not amazing either
This is not one of the best books I have read on programming. It could have been proof read before publication as there are many, many spelling, typing and grammatical errors as well duplication of at least one paragraph at the beginning. The example are clearly Python 2 yet the author states that Python 3 is the direction in which the language is heading, or to prove a point, it literally states " Python 3 is the absolute latest and signifies the direction in which the language I heading"
Python 2 is obsolete now, you really need to find a Python 3 guide.
Overall: AVOID
A book on python 2? What no! Waste of time.
unfortunately there are still real world use for py2. There are plenty of things still written in py2. However, if you are starting out, py3 is the obvious choice.
Yeah learning py2 is a waste of time. I'm sticking with that. Not to say it's useless language. Just picking it up from scratch isn't a useful expenditure of time.
