Best Wireless in-Ear Earphones for Calls

Hi guys,

Long time lurker, etc etc. I value the input and expertise of the OzBargain community so thanks in advance!

Best wireless in-ear earphones for calls, connect to phone (pixel 4XL) and laptop, excercise.

Noise reduction both ways would be great.

In ear buds and wireless around neck (also used for exercise) would be preferable.

Happy to spend for quality. I am used to the Sennheiser M2 IE Free (~$300), and before that Sony SBH70

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Greenspark. I use a pair of Jabra 65t active. Great for the gym and phone calls. Very comfy earphones and not bulky. Holder is very compact and fits in pocket. I have a pair of sony wf 1000xm3 in ear and Jabra, in my opinion are better for daily use. I would buy another pair. Highly recommend.

    • Used to own the 65t, loved it too except for the case being non-magnetic. I read that the 75t is a huge improvement.

  • I have the 65t - sometimes people tell me they can't hear me very well - although I love it for anything but calls.

  • airpods are pretty great for calls. my preference is the regular but during lockdown i was going on walks, while chatting with a friend who was walking in their own neighbourhood. in that time they upgraded to airpod pros, and they sounded the same or slightly better

overpriced apple isnt cheap, but they are good. i used them on daily walks and bike rides, with just one side in. calls were clear as long as i wasnt riding too fast or it was windy. good enough that i recently bought a second pair after 3 years of daily use because the battery became crap, and i had come to depend on them for making calls.
and i picked up another set in the recent ebay deals so that the gf would have a decent pair to chat with on her own lunchtime walks, because a pair of tws i had given her earlier had crap mic

  • My fav wireless earbuds at the moment are the updated Sennheiser Momentum 2. Yes they are pricey but the audio quality and ANC is some of the best I've tried on earbuds.

Also another one to consider for around $300 are the improved Samsung Galaxy Buds Live. Friend got a demo unit and the low profile fit, added ANC and additional mics are good additions.

More budget then the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ are a good option for under $150 if you shop around, though no ANC but battery is the best I've used, sounds decent for the price, improved mics etc.

If you want Apple then the Airpod pros are also very good but are best paired with an iPhone.
