I know these CPUs were not well received when they came out just over a month ago now, but this is the best price I have seen so far for the 3800XT variant. These have been retailing for around 660-700 since launch so this is a decent saving for anyone who has been holding out that wanted to pick one up. I know it does not even come close to the Amazon UK 3800 deal for $450 a month ago but the price for that CPU is back up to around $550 again anyway. Unfortunately no Amazon prime free delivery with this one to sweeten the deal.

  Price is so close to 3900x probably better off hunting for that. Then again this is the XT I guess.

  From my research X seems to be the better deal going around considering the lower price and minimal difference to XT.

  You might want to buy a 3800XT then, it's like buying a 3700X, then setting $150 on fire.

  Do not buy. Terrible, terrible value.

    Totally agree, thought the OZB deal a month ago for the 3800X @ $442 was an exception.. Loving it.

      That was the 3900XT but yeah he roasted both in the video.

      Interesting the 3600XT is still decent in their opinion.

    How did AMD get this one (XT) so wrong ?? Perhaps we've been use to getting such good value in all their non XT variants that it makes the XT look poor value wise in comparison?

  dont bother, either 3700x or a 3900x for $100 more with 4 more cores

  I ended up going with the 3700X at ~$450 as it is so much better value with only little difference in performance.
  I wouldn't call the XT series a bargain at all.

  Its surprising that Amazon UK has so little stock of so many things. Their prices on Ryzen 3600 and 3900x chips was great.
