  • Imagine the pool of sweat and moisture from your mouth and nose that will build up behind this thing?!

    • Hi, as it's quite a breathable material and the outer layer is droplet-proof, you'll find that there's not much build-up of moisture on the inner layer.

    Are they made in China?

No, They are made in Vietnam

How good is the seal on this? Does it have a bendable metal piece for the nose?

    • Hi, it doesn't have a bendable piece, but by choosing the right size for your face, it sits tight/comfortably on your nose.

      • But what about just to the sides of the nose? The wire piece isn't so masks sit comfortably, its to decrease the gap from nose to cheeks.

        • Are there any on ebay or here that are the fabric/reusable ones with the bendable metal piece? Ordered some the other day and forgot about it and there's huge open gaps either side from nose to cheeks..

          • @josh3003: sorry we are not aware of any that are fabric with the bendable wire.

Starting to look to me that all these mask are just for complying with the rules rather than prevent the spread of virus.

        • Surely these companies arnt just out to make a quick buck and care very little for the actual health of the consumer!! Shock :O

          But yes, totally agree.

Waterproof? Does this also mean that Air can not get out.

    • -1

Hi there, as the outer layer is droplet-proof, the aim to stop things on the outer surface. The inside layer is made using a breathable material.

Are they made in Australia or Malaysia or Taiwan or Vietnam?

    • Hi, They are made in Vietnam

Finally a mask I can swim with!

So are they waterproof or water resistant or droplet proof? Each means a different thing and each has been said

    • Hi, they are water resistant , and droplet proof.

      • Honestly it's really not good enough to make claims without proof and explanation.

FYI, we at OzBargain prefer specifications and not claims. It's better to not make claims and just stick to specifications.

eg: 3 ply mask made to WHO guidelines
        -Inner layer made of X
        -Middle layer made of X
        -Outer layer made of X
        Made in X
        Washable, reusable

Leave it up to the individual to decide if it is good for them, as opposed to stating claims that are hard to back up.

Also testing by private institutions is meaningless unless you can provide those tests. Approval by appropriate bodies means waaaaaaay more.

Do you ask this same question in every thread for a tangible product or is there something specific about masks made in china you don't like?

    • we have answered,

these masks are made in Vietnam

  • Where’s the deal? Masks are circa $8-$10 everywhere.

    • The deal we're offering is a bulk discount and a low-cost for this particular product. There's a wide range of products and prices available, and we've found this range that we're in to be a good deal.

      • Nah….masks are a dime a dozen at the moment, even for the 'bulk buy' prices you list. This isn't a deal and this website isn't an advertising platform.

        • Link to similar products ?

  • There isn’t a deal here. These look cheapish and are priced similair to everywhere else

    • You cant judge by the looks.
unless you have tried them all, this comment is not fair

    • So similar products at similar prices are deals but this isn't? Care to explain?

      • No they aren’t at all, none of them are deals. Black, triple layer masks are everywhere at the moment for $10. This isn’t a deal it’s marketing.

        • +2

Everywhere where? Your logic is interesting given we're in a period where many people are looking for masks and assessing the various options available. A deal which may not suit you may well suit others. Deals and mask availability come and go very quickly. For example in this case I may only want 1 mask delivered - many deals require multiple purchases. Or I want a small mask for a child - most masks on offer come in one size only. After viewing the images and reading the description I like the quality of these. The feedback suggests your guesswork about that is errant. If I wasn't in a Covid-19 free area and didn't already have a bunch of disposable masks I would be happy to purchase.

In short, price - and this is competitive - isn't the only thing which makes a deal. Ozbargain for dummies 101.

  • I was literally on their website a week ago and I swear the price was $9.95. In fact, the site doesn't even indicate that these are on sale.

  • "These face masks are suitable for both men and women"

Can these masks be worn by other genders too?

  • Hey OP,

Mind posting proof of the certification, I strongly believe that this isnt waterproof as its impossible for it to be waterproof.

  • -1

This is not a bargain….and OP is evading questions he doesn't want to answer.

    • Hi , sorry, we were off line. we are back now and will answer all questions

    • +4

To be fair, the Rep here has been very responsive. Pretty much answering everyone's questions, even though some are trolling and some are perhaps rhetorical

      • Agree. Small sample size but very good feedback on the product.

  • +1

It looks like almost a decent deal. However, 155mm is just too small for an adult let alone "extra large".

The mask has to cover under the chin by 20-25mm to help make a good seal.

Also needs a nose bridge to help seal over the nose and cheeks.

  • 99.9 % antibacterial fabric. What make the fabric antibacterial?

  • Being supported for papers and certificates at the request of customers

As Jofzar mentioned above, please provide certificate. We are your (potential) Customers.

  • Hm, Frenchcert (it's actually a british company…) isn't recognised by the EU commission: https://ec.europa.eu/growth/tools-databases/nando/index.cfm?… (for 93/42/EEC Medical devices). Only P2/ffp2 masks must be certified by those companies, for reusable mask it's easier to get a CE mark.
And on the DGA test result file, there is no trace of Dony garment mask.
It's made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton + a layer of SMS polypropylene.
I don't think there are silver or copper particles inside the polycotton layer so the antibacterial property may come from a chemical solution?

    • Hi there. If you'd like to clarify any information about the certificates, you're more than welcome to get in touch with our supplier directly:
