Been waiting for these cheap import deals for weeks now. Is there anything I should be aware of in regards to firmware, chargers etc?
As far as I'm aware it is the exact same as the AU stock, just with an EU charger. I'm waiting for mine to arrive that I ordered last week, it's currently in Sydney (I live in Melbourne).

Am I the only one who thinks Xiaomi is increasing their prices lately. Its losing their appeal.
Theres innovation now and that's cost money for the research. There becoming the first to release features so I think it's justified. Compared to ahhh not the pear company that other fruit one
What about this new xiaomi vac? I remember I bought my xiaomi robo vac many years ago at under $400. This new one is more than double that price.
I know this is a later model, but aren't robovac technology getting more commodities and you'd expect prices to be more competitive.
These use lidar for mapping, smart navigation, roborock was the first to introduce some nifty features like no mop and go zones. There new s6maxv has stereoscopic cameras combined with AI to id objects.
The one you have I think would of been a basic one with nothing really new to other expect greater cfm and maybe the magnetic no go strips. They have advanced alot since then.

S5max is actually newer than the s6, it's s5>s6>s5max>s6p>s6maxV think that was the release order. But the s5max is better than the 6. There's a graphic on the site. More power, bigger water thank and but smaller dust bin I believe. Only the s5max and 6maxv have electric water flow. Some of the features in the app were only limited to the s5max but I think the s6s have the features enable now too and there variations in the dust bin sizes

It's no recommended, but I read people doing it without issues. To stay on the safe side a low bubble solution or vinger should be best I'd say
