Deal edited to reflect the change in price for the Spartan knife.

Couple of knife deals from Jeff's Delivery Service.

The Spartan was available for $22.99 but is now $29.48 thanks to tighta55
And the wood handled 2.3801 can be had for $35.05 - Forget this one too. Price has gone way up.

If you are after any of these best get in quick before the Amazon algorithm kicks in and the price goes up. In this type of scam the algorithm doesn't make the price go down.

Shame I can't join you because it went up by $10. I already bought a pouch for it though.

    • I bought one for the hell of it a few months ago. I use it almost every day without fail, turned out to be probably the most useful thing I've ever bought.

  • But any if these are illegal to carry. Correct?

    • Good question.. can someone in AUS advise?
I was given the smaller version of this but I've always thought it was illegal to carry around NSW so it has never left the house.

      • +2

Definately not onto a plane (not that anyone can fly)

But in your pockets i dont think most police care as long as you're not causing trouble.

I would say you would have issues at metal detectors when entering certain places / security checks .

    • well, it mentioned here you can't carry them specifically mentioned "swiss army knife", unless it is 'lawful excuse' could include having the weapon for work, sport, recreation or a weapons collection, display or exhibition.

      • +3

Which means you can carry them in almost every scenario where a normal person need to carry one

    • In QLD Section 51 2d of the Weapons Act allows you to.

      Its a bit grey but the example they give is quite clear;
      "Examples for subsection (2)(d)—
A person may carry a pen knife or swiss army knife for use for its
      normal utility purposes."

It's a bit weird that they would nominate what one would conceive as a brand (Victorinox), as a Leatherman (what I carry) would fit the same bill.
It should probably be "a multi-tool for its normal utility purposes."

  • If we ever go to war with the swiss we should make sure all our equipment is held together with torx screws. The war will be over in a couple of days.
