  Have looked at these in store ages ago, at full price there are better options you can import but at this price good find if you get your size right.

    true, i don't buy anything that isn't at least Goodyear welted. i wear allen edmonds and rm williams, but if i didn't have too many shoes i would get these for sure. lol

      hah same, even when lockdown ends can't see myself being in the office as much as I use to be so suspect a lot of shoes are gonna last many years with how little they will be worn :p

    Now I’m not so sure. Here’s the extract from their website, sounds like maybe only the monks are cheaney (can’t see monks on their site)

      Mmm i believe MJ Bale have been moving away from Cheaney for their shoes. I think they use an indian factory for their GYW, if it ain't specified, assume not Cheaney.

  They (Cardiff) have been on clearance for a long time. I tired them in store before the lockdown started. The size runs large and quality seemed average, leather seemed thin. As far as I remember, these are made in India not UK. I decided not to buy even at this price and bought other Goodyear welt shoes from another store but at more than double the price of this.
