First deal post so go easy :)

I've been on the lookout for a soundbar with a separate subwoofer that won't break the bank. Noticed some older deals had expired on the Samsung HW-T450 and T550 but found the T650 on special. Tried a few postcodes and got free standard delivery to most states.
This is a step up from the T550, which was on special for $329 last month. I believe the main difference is that T650 has an extra channel speaker in the centre to enhance the dialogue, hence the higher price tag. Reviews seem favourable, although some say the volume is on the low side.
You could also try price matching at JB Hifi where it's going for the full $599.

      Looks like they are not shipping until mid-September, so it depends on if the shipping is worth the month-or-more wait.

      That's a $900 soundbar! Are you sure it's the same as this?
      Edit: Found it on Costco's website for $750, did you get a box-damaged one maybe?

    I got one of these only a couple of weeks ago. The Good Guys had them for $439 with $60 bonus store credit. It’s my first soundbar and I’m happy with it.
    I only went with a soundbar because I couldn’t be bothered setting up a proper 5.1 setup in the garage. That 3.1 is definitely worth it for the centre speaker.

        It's acceptable. It's certainly not as good as my 5.1 setup but I didn't expect it to be. If you do get one make sure you turn the DRC option off. its on by default and it compresses the audio, especially the bass and loud sounds.
        I'm a lot happier with it now that I've turned the DRC off.
