It's a mockery that these were pre order bonus, and now free.
Apparently you can unlock when you finish career mode too.

Just make a bloody boxing game EA

It has been forever since the last fight night :(

    • ufc 4 is the last game on contract with ufc and ea, I wouldn't get my hopes up, but the possibility is open.

  • I still haven't played UFC 4 for more than 45 minutes. God dam it was difficult, then I got hooked on Warzone and now the other 20+ games are collecting dust.

  • UFC 4 is so disappointing. If you haven't purchased it yet, wait until it is at least half price. Trust me, it ain't worth $69. If anyone wants to know more about it feel free to ask.

What are the main pros and cons?

    • Is the gameplay similar to UFC 3? Have they improved career mode?

I quite enjoyed 3's gameplay, but the career mode was pretty boring and repetitive, so I was hoping 4 would essentially be 3's gameplay with an awesome career mode.

I'll need someone else to provide feedback because I've only played UFC 4. However from what I've heard it is not really an improvement.

Career mode is fun at the start to get to the UFC (Dana White's Contender Series, WFA) and then rise the rankings to become the champ. It also looks like you've got a chance to become a champion of two divisions which is cool. But once you get to the UFC it is becomes very, very repetitive.

Unfortunately the trailer doesn't do it any justice. Coach Davis for example is at the start, but hardly has any interaction later on. There's not really a story line.

I heard that they had 2 years to work on the game and it seems incomplete.

I haven't really played career mode.
I'm a big fan of the pick up and put down playability of UFC 3.
What I can say about UFC 4 is that stamina management is a lot better, which makes it more enjoyable.
You can throw heaps more and not have to worry too much about about stamina, they've also tweaked how much damage you take to compensate.
Some of the control tweaks to add power by long press is good but can be annoying for players who have played 3.
In fact some of control mechanism grapple, guard can be annoying. Apparently you can change to legacy.
The new clinch is quite nice and not as broken as before if you didn't know how to use it - once again damage adjustment.
I'm on the trial version and I am tempted to purchase it, but probably not at the price they are asking.
