  • Time to stock up on Sodaking gas refills!

    • Interestingly, for months they've been selling me full bottles for the refill price ($20 now, was $14 till some time ago). Don't think they're in the sale, though.

  • Too bad Melville was my go-to store 😢

    • Yep! Burnt down!!!

  • I was thinking of getting delivery because a lot of the items at my local spotlight are out of stock, but I've heard stories here that a lot of the time the orders are par-filled without approval from the customer (rest is refunded)? Can anyone confirm if this is still true?

My previous delivery experience with them was alright. Items were dispatched from multiple locations but my order was complete.

      • Good to know, cnn! I've been wary about unfulfilled orders but it looks like it's 50/50 on having all items delivered. Debating on taking the gamble. What sort of items did you order by the way? I was after some dress fabrics and I'm suspecting it might be an issue with the fabrics for unfulfilled items.

My order was all kitchen/baking stuff. Yeah, based on the other comments, it sounds like fabric orders don’t always go well.

@cnn: Thanks for getting back to me! Looks like I'm outta look for my fabrics - the joys of being Melb-based.

Yes. The three fabrics I actually wanted were all cancelled and everything else shipped. I wish they had asked, I would have told them not to bother, the other stuff wasn't as important and of course the delivery fees weren't refunded. Anything "low stock" expect that you might not get. It's quite frustrating.

      • Ooof, a few of the items I'm looking at are low in stock and it's not worth having the order fulfilled if I can't get my hands on them. Thanks for sharing, Zenyatta!

I can confirm they are pretty bad in telling truth about stock availability online. Whenever you read 'low stock' - 90% of the time you will not receive that item refunded without consent.

      • Big yikes! Thanks for letting me know, might give it a miss then…
