Roofing repairs quote help needed

Hi People,

If anybody can help me validate the quote I have received of $1500 for following Roof related repairs. Is it too expensive?

(1) Install temporary fall protection in accordance with Victorian
Worksafe Regulations.
(2) Customer has 2 areas on the top level where water is leaking onto
the ceilling (it's a townhouse)
(3) Inspect and Patch cement bedding where needed.
(4) Inspect and Point all ridge caps with flexible pointing where needed.
(5) Replace 15 broken tiles, any extra tiles will be $4 per tile.
(6) Clean gutters around house.
(7) Seal lead flashing and PVC penetration at front of top level.

    1) Install temporary fall protection in accordance with Victorian Worksafe Regulations.

    This is probably taking up a fair portion of the costs. And it can’t be bypassed.

        Yeah townhouse is a bugger due to heights. I had a leaking roof on a townhouse and it was (10 years ago) $1k per attempt… (luckily was under warranty so I just passed the invoices on to the building company)

    Being a townhouse, is it not covered by body corporate?

      Nop, it's not part of body corporate!

    I thought the body corp was responsible for anything above the ceiling level and beneath the floor level?

      It may be that way but this townhouse is not part of body corporate.
