Places in Sydney to Buy Cheap Plants

Hi All,

Does anyone know of wholesale nursery's that sell to the public in Sydney?
I thought there was one near Galston but I can't find it. Mostly after natives and hedging plants.
Not sure how the pricing compares nowadays to Bunnings but it used to be considerable.

Cheers!

There's a lady who lives near us we call "plant lady". She goes out at night with a plastic bag, and comes back with a plastic bag with a plant.

Wait outside a trades only nursery. Tail council vehicles.

Dig up newly planted trees. Save hundreds. 🤫

(Bunnings is the cheapest if you want good quality plants. Very crap range but what they do have is cheap.)

You might be thinking of the one at Dural.

And compared to bunnings for hedging any wholesale nursery will have better stock selection/price

  • I came across a nice nursery a while back located at 195 Cawdor Rd, Camden NSW 2570 located South West of Sydney. They have a huge collection and they are located at a beautiful open place. I personally did buy anything as I was looking for fruit trees. Mostly they have hedging, roses, ornamental plants/trees.
