hi i'm new to this. Has anyone who is not a member bought from this link and received their GC?
    thanks

Do I need to be a member of the site (or member of anything else) to take advantage of this deal? I would also like to know if anyone has successfully purchased from this site.

    Thanks.

Please read through the topic linked in the OP.

      • Sorry, but I'm new to Ozbargain. What is "OP", and I don't see any link. On the web site itself, it seems to say that only members may purchase… that's why I asked. Or is it possible for non-members to purchase due to your specific link?

          • @Neoika: Hmm… but you only wrote "Please read through the topic linked in the OP". I didn't understand this at all, so that's why I asked for clarification… I would certainly thank you once I understood what OP meant and how the discount worked, and I would very grateful if/ once I successfully purchased the gift card. However, right now I'm just confused…

@dlee: Do not buy it then. Thanks!

OP=Original Post or Original Poster (as in the original person who posted the deal) I think….

the "topic linked" is the "Thanks Neoika". It's actually a link you can click to see what was originally said about this deal in other thread/post. When someone post something that actually was posted by someone else in other threads/deals, Again, I think it's either a rule or courtesy to give credits to the original OP hence OP linking it in this post. Hope I'm making sense here.

this link seems to be for everyone. I have not purchased before so I'm not sure if it works.

FYI, you will encounter a huge variety of personalities in this community (the same in any communities I suppose!) but generally people here are wonderful, funny and helpful. One thing for sure, at least for me, your spending will increase.

@ST: Thanks so much, ST. We certainly encounter all kinds of personalities here (as in life!). I felt like I was being slapped down for simply asking a question (it sounded like: "Read the other thread, stupid! And you didn't even THANK me!")… I didn't know what hit me! I'm now aware of what "OP" is, and will note the explanatory links! Thanks again.

@ST: But it will all be at bargain prices.

shop at woolworths and get 5% discount…

    • +5

Coles eGC has different use, can be used to buy 3rd party giftcards.

  • +3

Yeah, my employee benefits supplier is still out of stock until 7 Sep, and now showing only 4% discount, not the 5% it was previously.

Will be doing more shopping at Woolies to take advantage of a) 5% discounted egc, and b) a regular 10% shop each month with the credit card.

Coles gift cards are stupid tough , can’t even use it online

  • Coles gift cards used to be cool about a year ago, then they introduced this $500 limit and downgraded 5% to 4%. A staff member of one of the loyalty programmes I spoke with about this sounded very frustrated about it and said "Coles do not want to do business, just use woolworths cards instead".

who is the issuer for this mob? its not the Pegasus group i hope?

  • +4

The Pegasus Group are the pits. I am taking the Good Guys to Fair Trading for still not having delivered a Coles digital gift card from Pegasus after 12 business days.Just having posted this the gift card has arrived - I had given them until the end of today to send it to me.

not applicable for non -members so pls modify the title. Ive been informed by the company that my order has been cancelled as i m not a member.

    • They notified by email 1 day after the payment was made and will charge $5 as the processing fee. The managing director David Young was extremely rude over the phone.

      • I am on the same boat. They want to charge $5 for refund, this is crazy shit. Able to submit order and give you instruction to pay. After you paid, notify you are not applicable and charge $5 for refund. Geez

    Hi everyone,
I just wanted to report that I had a very concerned response from Emergency Memberlink. They told me that the deal is ONLY for people who work with emergency services, they DO check for membership, and will not give the deal to non-members.

They asked me to please inform everyone of this members-only policy. I didn't dob in this forum and did not say where I got the link from, even though they wanted to know, as they don't want to be swamped with non-member attempts to purchase, which will cause problems for everyone (those affected will be refunded). I'm just reporting what I was told! So, it's a pity that this deal isn't open to everyone.

same happened to me. They wanted me to snitch.
