Really? Last time I had Red Rooster the rolls was still cold. Sadly that was the last time I went to Red Rooster. I think KFC is better.
Red Rooster has really picked up their game since ~2016. Their Hellfire burgers are amazing. Shame people haven't seemed to realise this.

I think Red Rooster has always been amazing, just that local Aussies tend to look down on our own home grown brands.
Anecdotally, speaking to people overseas who've come here to study/holiday work they will mention Red Rooster being a highlight of our fast food scene. Being a Sunday roast based restaurant is very unique, something people from Asia will have never tried.

Reason why i mentioned Oporto was that their burger is comparable to the Hell Fire burger and is actually cheaper.Nandos chicken seems to be smaller too. Or is it i have grown larger?
@dasher86: Oporto's in Melbourne is really, really crap. In Sydney it's actually like Nando's in terms of quality. I was surprised actually. Nando's still wins overall for me (maybe Nando's is crappy in Sydney).

Last time I went to Red Rooster I was told that they'd run out of chicken, "but we have everything else".
The store shut down shortly afterwards.
I'd say they're both equally good. Difference depends on what I'm after/in the mood for at the time.
Just ask for the chips, no gravy, for $2 instead.

this available all the time, not just till 4pm. If you look at the t&c on their website it does not mention 4pm, same with the email they sent me. I also ordered it at 7pm last night drive thru. I don't have time to edit deal it so if someone can kindly do the honours…
