  • 1080p or 1440p ?

if you want 1080 probably stick to 24 inch max unless you got bad eyes. :)

Depends how close you are sitting to the screen as well.

where are the $199 1440p 27" everyone say is saying is better

You can get them at www.unobtainium.com/thisisajoke

The ones that also do 144hz?
They're all in the land of "not going to release a screen that is a worthwhile upgrade from a classic 1080p in every way", we live in the world of "release panels that only fit half of all use cases, but are generally all lacking one or two things that makes it worth upgrading from a 10 year old screen"
I dont think I helped at all though, but thanks for reading my bs.

  • Did I read the spec correctly? Response Time = 14ms - That is quite bad right? compared to the norm which is 4ms for Samsung/LG branded ones or 1ms for gaming monitor.

  • I purchased a 1ms Asus 27" 75hz, Aus stock 3yr warranty, for this price 3 years ago. I've even sold and upgraded in that time.

Is this considered a good deal now? (edit: it was VA, but still…)
