          Might be worth doing a group buy direct from SVS when on sale, although their website doesn't ship outside USA :(

          Anyone know good freight forwarder as Auspost shopmate doesnt do larger bulky items like a PB-2000.

      Neither. Get an SVS at around this price point (sealed if mostly music, ported if mostly movies). Or spend more and get an HSU or Rythmik.

    I was looking at one of these to upgrade a couple of months ago, was recommended by one store…price was around $1300, so great price.
    Ended up buying (after testing) a REL HT 1205 for the same price…very happy with the purchase.

    Price is a bit disappointing when these sell in the UK for £500 with VAT, or and equivalent $850 with GST.

    Respect that shipping is more expensive here (and now with covid), but that's a stretch.

      It's a UK-based company, so I assume all their stock gets manufactured in China, shipped to the UK, then a small proportion gets to go on an extra holiday to Australia for us. This could change if there's a dedicated Australian distributor like the OP hinted at in another thread. Or maybe we'll end up paying even more to line the pockets of the Australian distributor. shrugs

        And yet it's $1100 on the Catch marketplace, which means you can probably beat this price with gift card and coupon deals.

        I find it hard to believe that a company which is widely sold in Europe and the US doesn't have a distribution point from where it's manufactured. Just need a vendor prepared to order enough units and fix their margins up a bit.
