    30 day warranty???

    that's generous

My thoughts too! Besides, its not necessarily the Mp but the lens quality that give a good photo. You can get a similar spec (but less than 15Mp) name brand camera for around this price with 12 times the warranty. I have had a few major brand cameras fail after a little use (about 1 month). There is no way I would buy a camera with only 30 days warranty.

http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/55785 Harvey Norman Buy One Get One Free deal is better value, with proper branded cameras and proper warranties ;)

      • you dont need 15mp

get a decent brand name camera like a 10-12mb samsung or canon whatever for well under $89

my local HN always has cheap $50-$70 brand name cams all the time on special

That was unfortunate timing. I should have done my search before I posted a comment.
          That was my fault, sorry.

FTR: tonyjzx replied to a comment that was pretty much the opposite to what it is now. I changed it as tonyjzx would have been writing a reply to the original comment.

and that name brand camera from HN is 16Mp with 12 months warranty for same price! There are others. But wait, you get 2 for that price! So this post is a crap deal.

          far out 16Mp for $89

that's heaps of pixels for your money

it does 720p video as well which is awesome for the money

      • As in go halves on the deal with someone.

Megapixels don't indicate camera quality, nor do optical/digital zoom levels.

Looks like a duck, quacks like duck - it's probably a duck.
Looks like junk, priced like junk, warranty like junk - it's probably junk :-)

Sometimes you get what you pay for.

    Nah

  • interesting couple of links posted under 'reviews'….

    http://survival.tacticaltech.org/mobile/multimedia/megapixel…
which seems to be a simplistic explanation of megapixels….

and http://www.digital-photography-school.com/rule-of-thirds which talks about the rule of thirds…..

(Incidentally, part of the article talks of the third photo down….

In this shot I’ve placed the subject along a whole line which means she is considerably off center and therefore creating an additional point of interest.

She has a couple of points of interest as far as i am concerned….. wherever she stands….)

Neither of the links posted are reviews….

    • Seems the 'reviews' were included to give credibility to a so-so camera.
