Moutai is far more refined than your standard baijiu, but for the love of god have some meat nibblies handy if you're going to be drinking quantities of it because it will overload your palette otherwise.
Also, if you aren't munted, you aren't drinking to Chinese standards.

Moutai is one of the best liquor China has ever made, it represents the ceiling of China sprint crafts. Ppl in China will only drink this in the important days like marriage.

It didn't used to be this expensive, the price sky rocketed in recent years for some reason. I had 5 bottles given to me by my father 20 years ago, I drank some and gave the rest away. Back then, they were still not cheap but only cost around 500RMB a bottle/$100 Aussie
