I got the black one as per last sale for $249. I wished Id picked this blue edition as the black one is quite not so I dont know…cant put my finger on it.
interested on your thoughts on it if you end up able to put your finger on it! i was interested in the black dial one myself - i have too many blue sunburst pieces (though admitedly none with this sort of effect), and like the idea of a black dial with something interesting about it (black dials are usually just boring gloss black, an interesting one is rare..).

Bought this watch based on comments here and seeing it come up on ozbargain a few times in the past. It arrived today. Very nice. From the photos I was thinking it would be more blue - when I first un-packaged it in my office, I thought I got the black one by accident. Then I saw that the blue tinge was noticeable at an angle and only on an axis. Otherwise the blue really only pops under direct light. That said, its my first entry in getting an automatic, and having the titanium and sapphire glass on such a classic watch design really makes it worth it.
