  How good are these speakers? Why do they sell out so quickly? Is there a place where I can demo/read more about it? I currently have a micca mb42x pair.

    Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with your speaker to make a comparison.

    There are numerous fantastic reviews on youtube for these speakers; by fantastic I mean well-executed videos.

    Based on reviewers opinions, these speakers likely aren't for you if:
    One of your primary listening genres is metal orientated.
    You tend to prefer the Sony or Bose general EQing, which is more dominant in the bass.

    You can balance with a matching stereo-amp, something like a Marantz or NAD would help, alternatively a subwoofer, this is of course only matters depending on how vital the lower-end is to you, the low frequency only goes to 64Hz.

    The 3030i has a larger cabinet, which allows it's base to shine right up next to the treble, however, as far as I've seen, respectable sales for this model are quite rare.

    Great quality speakers for their price. Bass is still better than anything else you'll find at this price point, but definitely will help having a sub paired with them to give them the extra oomf that really lifts them up.

  These are back on for backorder at $319.71 Delivered with Prime. Which to me still seems a steal, if anyone wanted a set!
  Also, anyone know of a good budget amp for this? I was looking at the SMSL AD18, but have seen mixed reviews, and anywhere I can find their newer SA300 has it for around 400 and, at that price point there are more tried and tested options.
