  • Do these cut power to the lights when turned off?

Or are they like the Lifx ones?

    • Yes, it cut the power to the light once turned off.

Not like the Lifx smart switch.

      • Damn :(

        • May I ask why is this a deal breaker for you?

    1. How is this supported in Apple HomeKit? I don't see it in the list of certified accessories in https://www.apple.com/au/ios/home/accessories/

    2. Does it need a seperate hub/bridge for Homekit connectivity?

    • If it's anything like the standard CTEK Wi-fi switch (which are actually pretty good), it doesn't have Homekit support. Instead it has Siri voice control which is enabled in the app. This is a deal-breaker if you are wanting to do automation via Homekit.

      • +2

Thanks, it's actually an Apple Homekit fully compatible version, not just with Siri.

        • Great, thanks for clarifying.

    • +1

It is not on the list but it works with Apple Homekit.

It does not need any third-party App or Hub to be able to work with Apple HomeKit.

The switch itself connects to the Apple Homekit by canning its own barcode.

Here is a Youtube link https://youtu.be/szuC4L4JZRI

      • Thank you very much! This is very good news…

1.Can I confirm that this is the same switch as seen in this video? https://youtu.be/Ib4QxMJVUzI?t=7

The reason I ask is because I wanted to see the wiring needed and I wanted to know if it needs a Neutral wire, Common, etc. (I do see a Neutral socket on the backplate 7s into the video)

Alternatively, if you have a wiring diagram it would help.

2.Would you be applying to have this Homekit certified in the future?

3.Also, on your Lectory page, it says "The switch shows information such as Time, Power consumption, and even an epidemic report."
What is an epidemic report? :)

        • +1

Yes it is the same switch, it needs a Neutral wire to work, the wiring diagram comes with the switch.

          It is already Homekit certified.

It provides a report to let you know how much electricity the lights have consumed during a certain period.

          • @Lectory LED Lighting: Thanks! I just realised that when I wanted to buy one Homekit version, the price is actually $186. With the 10% discount, it would be $167.40.

Also, it says Free shipping on the right but Free Pickup on the left.

Can you reconfirm that it will be Free Shipping as per your offer in Ozbargain?

  • Is it dimmable?

    • There is going to be a dimmable version available in Mid October as well.

But it will only control 1 lighting circuit.

  • 1 Gang
    2 Gang
    3 Gang

    Too many gangs…

  • Can you use one of the buttons to drive another remote unit switch? To effectively replace an existing 2 way switch or does it support 2 way switching?

Can you customise the images & colours etc on the display?

Can the screen be oriented horizontally to cover in existing switch holes?

    • +1

Yes, you can use one of the switches (or button on one switch) to control other switch or a group of switches to enable 2/3way control.

Yes, you can customise the image and colour on the display.

You can make a choice between horizontal or vertical (setting change on switch) for the display to fit the position of the switch.

  • Is there likely to be a four gang version also? It seems ctec have decided it’s not worth their while to do these? I would have thought as a new product at least they wold have included that.
