That horrible game is not a sequel.
Similarly Matrix is not a trilogy; there is only one Matrix movie.
Well I had enjoyed PvZ2 (though not as many times over as the first one). Also liked PvZ2 Chinese edition which has more characters and levels than the English version.

Only problem is that you have to run an Android emulator to play it.
I wonder what is taking so long for PvZ3. Its been in beta for over 4 months on the google playstore but not for available for download in Australia yet.

Thought I had it already, but just on Origin, downloaded it on Steam last night and suddenly it was 4am.

Ha, I did exactly this just yesterday! My 7-y/o daughter was getting bored after "remote learning", and I needed to get some solid work done. Loaded up Steam on the Vodafone TV with the intention of her playing The Incredible Machine. She spotted Plants in my game library, and now her and my 4y/o son are obsessed with it! Def worth it even at $7.50
