Gerni 115.3 Pressure Washer $69.99 + Delivery @ Supercheap Auto eBay

880

Not as good as the Gerni 125 or the K3 deal that was up last night but still a good price for a good pressure washer

I've used Karcher's in the past but have always had problems with the plastic pump, so hopefully the Gerni with the metal pump will last a lot longer.

This is part of Father's Day deals for 2020.

Looks like price error as these in other shops are $199

    • pretty sure SCA are clearing these hence the price https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/gerni-gerni-classic-115.…

      • Gerni are now distributed in Australia by Einhell/Ozito, so it wouldn't surprise me if everyone except Bunnings stops carrying the brand.

    • +2

I have seen it for $69.99 since we had other deal(price error) for $30.

so its not a price error

  • No click and collects

Will these damage the paint work on an 18 year old van?

    • +1

Use the car wash head, and don't put the nozzle closer than say 30cm.

    all gone it seems

    "Blood pressure monitoring"
    🤑
    "The seller is away"

    What else?

    What a weird day!

    • uh oh.. I hope someone called the ambulance for him.

  • Anybody tried price beat in Bunnings..? They have a similar item. But not the exact model number.

  • +3

So cheap, I'm pressured to buy

  • the plastic pumps in lower end marchers are terrible ….. have owners 3 over the years and never again.
service rep told me it was that plastic is corrosion resistant and some home users don’t drain them and aluminium corrodes if not drained, and people who buy mid range do know to drain them as they are experienced home users…..which is actually what happened to my old 400 series before i knew to drain after use, his advice was buy a brass pump version …….$1000.

seems wrong detergent if people suck up from bucket also causes corrosion if left undrained in the aluminium ones …..
have a gerni 125.5 classic in a box still from bunnings, will see how that goes …..has aluminium pump head $149.

    • +6

How does one drain the pump?

      • +2

after you disconnect water, quick pull of the trigger pumps out remaining water from the pump.

my Karcher's one come out smoke never buy it again

  • Base model Karchers are rubbish. Mine died within a year with less than 20 or so uses! Bought a base model Gerni and still going strong after 5+ years of intermittent use. Definitely something to do with the metal pump over the Karcher’s plastic ones.

    • I’m the opposite - my mid range Gerni was a POS and would constantly stop working mid-job. You’d have to stop and start to try get the flow going again. It finally died after a handful of years and replaced it with a Karcher K3 which has had 0 problems and lasted twice as long (so far).

      • Same. Paid$500 for my Gerni, started leaking after ~15 uses. When i returned it the salesman told me gerni is exiting AU market and trying to sell out anything they got left in stock

    • You get 5 years warranty with Karchers base models (k2, K3, K4) and 7 years for high end.

  • Can anyone recommend an extension for the hose line?

Gerni sell one near $50. Which was the cost of my Gerni initially anyways haha.

  • Damn. Contemplated and missed out!

  • Great price! Still waiting for water restrictions to be lifted so I can finally use the one I have ;( <expletive removed> politicians!

    • There should be an exemption for pressure washers. They user only a fraction of the water compared to a hose!

      • At least for this, they're releasing water down the waterways already, and we're paying for a desalination plant (and we were paying for that when it was inoperative!)
If they value water that highly, build a pipeline to transport it to areas that need it (which they should have done last time it was this full) - there's some jobs right there

  • How well would that included foam sprayer work? Anywhere near a foam cannon?

    • Foam was not I expected as I am using a generic foaming agent. Will try again if the Snow Job from last deal with Repco will generate good foam.

    • +1

Included foam sprayer has nothing on an actual foam cannon

      • Thanks. That's what I thought.

  • Bought the same brand last week from Bunnings. Gerni 115.5 for $129 without the brush, should have waited this is a good price with more accessories for less $$$.

    • +4

Mate! If you can predict the future you should buy shares instead of pressure washer. Better yet buy the lotto! :)

FYI I was able to purchase one just now so not sure if it's back in stock or if my order will be cancelled.

  • Just bought one right now
Lots more sold in last few minutes

  • Jut bought - can anyone tell me if it it comes with a patio cleaner? Want to clean the driveway.

  • The Gerni Rotary brush is also on sale at SCA and SCA ebay for $9.99 click or collect or + delivery.

  • +1

    They're baaaacckkkkkkkkkkk!

  • +1

    yay! bought one!

    Back in stock…

  • Has anyone's order actually been shipped?

    • mine has not shipped either. I feel there is a refund looming.

      • As suspected got the dreaded refund email.

  • +1

EBay image shows Gerni 115.5, which is the same as Bunnings.
Can we get a price beat in bunnings?

Shipping is $8.50 for the SCA item and estimated date is Sep 14.

    • Unlikely… try and let us know 😂

      • Just tried and got one

Trying to attach a photo for last 5 mins. Still no luck

        • nice. did you price match their website or eBay?

          • +1

@nosrad: Actually both. The Bunnings guy checked the eBay page and then went on to check the SCA website, due to the model number difference.

SCA has it named as 115.3 but the attached pics in both eBay store and regular SCA page has 115.5's image.

He checked it and then said "Am not sure if it is a typo error on 115.3 part or they attached a wrong pic. He opined SCA might have an old version hence they are clearing it out. It's ok, I will match nonetheless"

            • @maddykartik: On a second look, I noticed the Bunnings one has less attachments than SCA model

              • @maddykartik: Lucky you managed to get a price beat. None of us here is likely to get anything :(

And out of stock again. I think I got the last one, assuming it actually ships…

  • +1

    Back in stock @12pm

  • this on battery or you need to connect power ?

  • I have a feeling this won't be shipped due to no stock.

  • Out of stock once more, was about to check out. Bugger. Went from 181 sold to 205 sold in about 3 minutes!

    • same here….

      • They just updated the banner to say "This seller is currently away, and isn't processing orders at this time. You can add this item to your watch list to purchase later." which is a shame. Not hoping they'll be back anytime soon.

  • +1

    No stock

  • " This seller is currently away, and isn't processing orders at this time. You can add this item to your watch list to purchase later. "

  • Any recommendations for a cheaper alternative for hose extension?

  • Was Stanley 5.5hp for 99 plus shipping on sca ebay

  • considering I posted this and I would've been one of the first to purchase lol , just got an email with a refund….

    • No! Bad news 😂. Mind sharing the email with us?

  • +2

Available to order again. No idea how they have stock available if people who ordered earlier are geting refunded..

  • Its back in stock @2:30PM today.

    • yep bought another after i got my first refund LOL

      • lol what the?? hopefully it goes through

      • I did the same, but a bit confused now :-). In their refund email they refer to ebay order id which I can't find anywhere in my first order. It will be weird if I'll get both of them :-)

  • got an email saying they can't fulfill the order and will issue a refund in days.

  • Did anyone even end up getting one?
I got the email saying they cant fulfill my order.
    What a downer.

    • would be interested to find out too.
doesnt seem like anyone actually got one.

      • Yeah, quite a lot of negative feedback on ebay in the last month.

        • Wow alot of unhappy campers.
Im doubtful any orders were fulfilled then.

As one of the reviews says, would have been nice if they could honor a backorder.

  • -1

Absolute sh%tshow. I could have bought from a couple other specials, but being that I had this one booked I did not. Now they are all sold out. Oh, but I did get my Gerni brush in the mail on Friday. Yeah, for a pressure washer that's been cancelled. Happy Fathers day me! Very annoyed.

    • +2

I agree it's a very poor way to run a business, but can we please stop saying lame things like "Father's day ruined"?
I'm sure most people who bought this half didn't expect the order to be processed and if Father's day is so important to you, you wouldn''t bet on a deal like this to come through.

Mine is yet to be cancelled but I'm 99% certain it won't go through.

  • Anyone received their order?

    • Ordered on 4 September and zero update at all. Have to wait until the 17th before I can even get Ebay involved.
Why do they even bother having an Ebay store at all I wonder.

  • Got a reply from Supercheap ebay store. As expected, no stock so they have processed a refund, which just came through PayPal.
    What a clowns.

    • Hopefully everyone leaves bad feedback and they wake up

  • leave bad feedback

my last 2 purchases have not been in stock
still waiting for them to realise the 2nd to refund the money.

  • 2 weeks and still no refund. Raised a dispute with Ebay and they processed the refund for me. SCA are hopeless.
