[PS4] Metro Exodus Aurora Edition (Comes with Season Pass, Steelbook) $39 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ JB Hi-Fi

170

Been annoyed at how the price for the dlc is always through the roof, and who want's to throw money away on digital content anyhow?

at current the season pass and both DLC's cost more than this and the Aurora edition has been out of stock all over the place for ages.

JB hifi had it up for a lot more and it seem's they've just slashed the price on it. Limited locations but postage is still an option.

$39 c&c where you can find it or add postage.

Also has a steelbook for those of you sexually attracted to those, I personally don't get it but it's in there.

    This is really good value.

  • How is it on PS4/Pro? I see lots of comments online about input lag and slow loading times 😕

    • I tried to play it on Xbox One X & didn't really notice those issues. Biggest thing for me is it's only 30fps, really bad for a FPS. I couldn't play it, I'd assume the PS4 would be the same.

        Hmmm good to know. Thanks!

I played it on the Pro and there was pretty noticeable input lag, and the game was super buggy, which in a few cases caused me to lose a whole lot of progress. I never got around to finishing it because it just never felt good to play. This was also only about 4 months ago, so these weren't launch issues that have since been patched, this was well into the games release life.

Should probably add that I was a huge fan of the first 2 Metro games and loved playing through them on PS4.

@XVX: Input lag was unplayable at launch with PS4 Pro. Literally unplayable imo.

However, month or so after release there was a patch which added some presets/options to rectify it somewhat, so I'm suprised you still struggled with it.

Ok going to take a smack at a few people here with this but here we go :

"How is it on PS4/Pro? I see lots of comments online about input lag and slow loading times 😕"
Plays fine. A lot of people making these comments, don't know what they're doing, played it through on a decent screen and have heard that a lot of people bashing this were doing it on screens that had lag and it just added up. No issues here on a hisense 4k screen.

"Biggest thing for me is it's only 30fps, really bad for a FPS. I couldn't play it".

30fps is very playable, you'd be surprised how many people claim that they can't play at 30fps, but shock horror a lot of things run at that and the majority of people have no issues, and as shown on linus tech tips, yes higher fps and refresh rate is great, but unless your doing competitive, it's not as much of a deal as you'd think.

Didn't have these issues with mine, neither did my mate playing it on Xbox One (not one X, the vanilla model). Your mileage may vary, but this may be again due to screen, my mate with the xbox one started out playing it on a cheap nasty screen, it did have quite a bit of lag. After moving into a new place that had a big screen decent refresh rate screen, no issues.

These issues have been addressed in the patches, but the main issues i've heard from anyone I know have been on it running on the One X.

Definitely wasn't a case of a bad screen in my case, as I like you ran it through a Hisense 4K TV which has a small amount of input lag, but not enough to warrant this amount of in game delay. I also tried playing it through my projector which has practically no input lag and is mostly used to play Guitar Hero because of this, but yet the game was still noticeably bad with input lag.

The games general performance felt like that of an early release alpha game with the constant bugs.

        • Weird what system were you playing it on?

            • @XVX: weird had no issues on mine, did first play through at launch, second one to platinum a month ago.

Been dying for the expansions but theres no way they're worth what they're charging digital for them.
