If you want to get your green tea antioxidant fix without having to drink several cups of Green Tea per day, take Next Generation Supplements Green Tea capsules instead.

Green tea and black tea both come from the same plant, Camellia Sinensis.

The difference between the two lies in how the leaves are processed. Black tea is produced by allowing the leaves to oxidize. This process destroys a lot of the therapeutic substances, known as polyphenols, which are found in leaves.

  • High in anti-oxidants
  • Increases metabolism
  • Assist with boosting energy levels and vitality
  • Supports general well being

You might want to mention that taking green tea supplements when they are not diluted in hot water (aka tea) is a toxin to the liver. This can cause liver failure and death. Selling these tablets is dangerous and irresponsible.

    • Is that even true? A quick search seems to show that a certain level of catechin (ECGC) intake was connected to liver damage, and that seemed most prevalent from 800mg/day upwards.

These capsules when taken as directed would have an intake of 200mg/day at max.

Doesn't make a difference if it's in tea or capsule, just you would have to have 10-15 cups of green tea per day to hit that intake.

      • Sadly yes, which I can vouch for from personal experience…I added matcha green tea to smoothies daily for 6 months. The results were pretty devastating. Thankfully all resolved now 5 years later.
