Been waiting for this Solar Prospex watch to be available again and saw this on Starbuy for $299. Been out of stock for a while and last time it was available during the weekend sale sold out before I was able to pull the trigger. This is a JDM model.

I really like the simple and clear dial, the vintage style feel on this watch, including the patina coloured batons, dial and bezel. I am also planning to remove the shroud on this for a completely different look.

    Bought one last night.
    I too had been chasing one for months. Only bricks and mortar store that I could find one in was Salera's. Stickered at $675 and offered me 15% current sale discount to $573.75. I knew they had it online for $405 which the store then offered to match once they'd checked; claimed Head Office don't always advise them of online sales. They wouldn't drop any further when I said Starbuy had had it cheaper.

    Couldn't find a price anywhere close to $405 from overseas.
    Spoke to Starbuy a few weeks ago and they said they'd taken the very last 400 units from Seiko Japan. I can't understand why this watch has had such a short run.
    Dont hesitate to buy it now if it appeals to you. I love the clarity of design. Will be a great grab and go with the solar power. Will only have to change the date 5 times a year and according to specs the watch should be no more than 45 seconds out (+-15 sec/month) over the longest of those periods (1 July to 1 Oct and 1 Dec to 1 Feb).

    A second hand one (SNE543P) sold for more on eBay last night; $325 + $10 shipping.

    Starbuy had this SNE543J listed at $399 for the 24 hours from restocking until this weekend flash sale went live last night.

    No idea what the JDM status will offer as a bonus on this batch Starbuy has or how it may be indicated on the watch itself. Maybe just the tags?

      My watch has just arrived in Brisbane. Very happy.

      Dial says "Japan V157" versus "Mov't Japan" on the SNE543P1(and Starbuy's picture).
      Caseback says "Made in Japan" versus "Movement Japan" on the SNE543P1.
      Serial number starts 99 so manufactured September 2019.

      Starbuy has this listed as SNE543J and I couldnt find any other reference to this online. The tag actually states SNE543J1 and searching now brings up more Japanese websites.

    Got mine today, my fifth or so watch from starbuy. I dont have anymore positive things to say about these guys.
    Even during pandemic, delivered on third day.

    About the watch, I think it's great. Just the lume is not as good as my turtle. Again, beating the turtle is not an easy job.
