Been looking for desktop speakers for a while. These are pretty decent.

  Nice price, I'd say get the 1700BT if its a comparable price though.

    id assume that they are better, and have better bluetooth, aptx etc, but R1280T are pretty good for dumb speakers. I run off a good sound-card though, audio from optical toslink is average.

    They have a much fuller mid range than my logitech z5500
