I want to edit photos/videos in lightroom/premier and some light gaming.

    Rajeh, what do I do?

  • +1

based on my recent experience of picking parts, pcpp is not anywhere near the cheapest, I order 90% of my parts from Amazon, rest eBay, all with free delivery, total was $1700. PCPP shows 1925.60 fyi

    • +1

In some cases PCPP does not show all retailers. However I would be impressed if you could build this under $1,400.

Here you go, this is based on the price available rn and in the past 30 days and arguably better, all free delivery.

I chose a different case because I think it is absurd to pay over $100 for a case. My system in 6 months will probably be a Ryzen 4700x with a RTX3060/3070 and it will be in the Corsair Spec-06 which I got for $88 new.

Ooo he accepted the challenge and won. Well done

        • Its not exactly "this" build, but I guess it's close enough. Although I am very impressed by that SSD price, however when I click on it, the price shows 164, was that a pricing error on their part?

          • @Titan Tech: like beside the case, I think all of my parts are either the same or better than the one in your build. And not all the prices are available currently, but it was available at least sometime during the past 30 days, the P1 was available at that price and honoured by the sellers a week or so back

  • why put 3200 ram on a mobo that does not support higher than 2933?

    • The only suppliers who stock 2933mhz ram are amazon and new egg which are a pain to deal with if we need to claim warranty. We stock 3200mhz for a lot of builds so it lowers the cost. 2933mhz ram ends up costing us MORE then 3200mhz ram because it is not widely produced.

The problem I see here is that it is advertised as 3200 but can't even run that fast.
You explanation makes sense but should be mentioned.

  • @Gelligan
Thanks for your comment. Makes me want to build more and more my own PC instead of a prebuilt one.

  • Hey Titan Tech , waiting with bated breath for the new website and deals. When can we expect

    • Just in the process of adding products now. Should be live by tonight!

      • Are we live yet!?

        • They must have taken a hit from the announcement so there probably won't be any good discount anyway, like this system is now only $1.3k on pcpp

          • @ln28909: The new website is live, Deals will be posted shortly. Hard to offer competitive deals with all the low prices.

Companies are selling things below cost price just to empty to cupboards. If you know how to build your own you will save at least 50 to 100$!

            www.titantechit.com

Still have a lot of products to add. Keep you eyes out for some amazing deals on AOC Monitors!

            • @Titan Tech: yeah I imagine it must be tough atm, what do you do with your supply of 2000s cards, do you get like cashback from the supplier, or do you return them or do you have to keep them and sell at a loss?

and yeah, I just build my pc, saw one with very similar specs all Corsair, they're asking for $2850 and I built mine for ~$2300 with a 2080 Super ROG Strix OC instead of a 2070 Super Galax, so yeah the saving is just insane if you were to build your own rn.

              • +2

@ln28909: Building your own is always the way to go. We sell at a loss, which is really tough.

The worst part is that the new cards will not be fully available for months to come but no one is buying computers because people think they will be here in the next 2 weeks. So, as a supplier, we can only pray that NVIDIA allows people to start selling the cards sooner rather then later.

                • @Titan Tech: Yeah it must be really tough rn.

Like if you look at the sentiments of Ozbargain, everyone is telling people to wait for the new gen and yeah let's just hope that there won't be a severe stock shortage otw not many people would be looking to buy a PC until the new year

                • @Titan Tech: Appreciate the deals and quality components, Isaac, and based on the testimonials here, the overall build quality.

Speaking of the RTX 3000 series, would you possibly be offering RTX 3000 ready prebuilds? I can only speak of my personal situation, but I've still got a pretty snappy gaming machine and workstations, and so I'm really wanting to upgrade and leave the RTX 2000 series. Others may also be in this boat. I'll snap up a RTX 3080 ready build though, possibly twice.
All the best with it all.

                  • +1

@Ash Mantle: I can assure you as soon as we can get our hands on the stock we will be selling 3000 ready systems.

Our systems will not be cheap tho. As we know the 3000 range is powerful and I for one do not think they suit a B450 and 3600 build. We will have an option like that however most of the builds will be B550/X570 with 3700X and up. |

However from what my supplier tells me it will be at LEAST 2 months before we can fully access stock.

                    • @Titan Tech: Nice one, and can appreciate the wait and price.

With the RTX 3000 ready builds, I was also wondering about the possibility of you guys offering prebuilds in the meantime without the RTX 3000 series coming with it, and the customers could then source their own graphics cards once supplies open up, just the components you can offer to make the most of the eventual release of the RTX 3000 series. I personally think the Ryzen 5 3600 is still the golden sweet spot, though now reading through build advice and suggestions online the 3700x is now the golden sweet spot for the RTX 3080, and agree you'll need better performing motherboards and other components.
So once stock is accessible, customers could then buy graphics cards from you guys or source their own, which could possibly cut wait times as well, and have people buying PCs again.

                      • @Ash Mantle: We are actually just about to post a 3600 and 3700x "3000 ready" system! Probably something with a B550 and X570 board. Techfast just beat us to it so we were going to wait a few days.
