Once you start playing you may want to check out this archive of permanent codeswhich will grant special in-game items. After that, watch this page for new codes that are released. You can redeem them in-game or get a free SHiFT account to save them for later (some loot codes can’t be used until later in the game).
I assume when redeeming the codes I need to pick borderland 2 not borderland 3. Is this correct?
Codes are specific to either borderlands 2 or 3. You have to pick the platform I.e. steam or epic but not title.
Seems only 4 codes work for epic
@bashar20: The first page of permanent codes I linked to should be BL2-specific, but the second page for new codes will identify whether they're BL, BL2, or BL3. Further, it's pretty good that it tells you what platform the code works on as well: Xbox, PS, PC, or Universal (which works on all of them).
For the best chance of redeeming I recommend setting up a SHiFT account, after you redeem them there you'll be able to use them in-game at your leisure. (I don't know about BL & BL2, but in BL3 you need to go to the Social menu and access in-game messages to pick up the keys before they can be used.) Also, with a SHiFT account you can redeem keys for any of the games irrespective of whether you own it yet or not. So, grab all the BL2 keys now for immediate use, then grab all the BL3 keys if you plan on ever getting it later. I don't think they have an expiry once redeemed.
Nice find! I've maxed out the base game but keen to go beyond Legendary.

- do a search for "Borderlands"
- click on "Borderlands 2"
- add the DLC packIt's under the Borderlands 2 listing
Was confused at this too, but realised there's only the one DLC. The OP's title is just the full name of it.
Is anyone else having trouble loading the DLC? I've downloaded content but for some reason, still can't access Fight for Sanctuary in game. Says that I do not own it.
