Broccoli $2.40 per kg @ Coles

90

Something fresh and at fairly good price considering per kg was a lot more a few months back (but perhaps seasonal?).

YMMV on pricing may depend on your location at Coles or alternative shops ;)

Not sure what Coles meant by:
Retail Limit: 50
Promotional Limit: 50

Found this Recipe (no, I have not tried it :D)… for any adventurers.

1.5 at the local vege shops.

      Extremely location dependent.

      • I guess the point was:

Check at your local grocerer's, it might be even cheaper.

        And it's a good call.

    $1.90 at Aldi

    • I wish Coles has PB like OW :D

Aldi broccoli isn't usually that fresh. This is my experience for a few years now, not just a few times.

Even cheaper if u cut the stems off

    • +5

Nope, just tried it at my local Coles.

They are still $2.40 per kg…

But the stems are delicious too!

    • Anyone noticed broccoli stems are longer these days, or is it just me?

    $2/kg @Coles in Brisbane
    Price depends on your location!

I find that when Coles sell broccoli very cheaply the quality is quite poor. Not always but very often.

OTOH Woolworths seem to only sell one grade which is pretty good.

    • Agree, and it was $2 on last 2 weeks at Woolie.

      • May still be $2/kg this week.

    Price match at OW??

Has to be an exact item.
