This is not a very good feedback about his product.

Do you have a better video about this item? Thanks alot. I am interested it but not very sure after watching this video.

    Thanks

      Hi Torres,

The video you have listed is a pre-production model which is stated at the beginning of that video and was published over a year ago before any firmware / software updates.

Here is a video that has a lot of positive things about the SIRUI M1.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-4aR09Gmqw

For the price of this entry level mobile gimbal it offers a lot of functions and features.

      • and was published over a year ago before any firmware / software updates.

No, it was published October 2019 It hasn't even BEEN a year yet my friend.

  • Thanks not buying after that video

the auxillary wheel seems like really intuiitive way to incorporate functionality during filming however the finicky folding mechanism, battery life issue and MicroUSB are really the most unfortunate traits of this device from few reviewers.

also do note there arent alot of reviews so it may somewhat be tough to get a good gauge.

Can't speak for this gimbal, but Sirui are an amazing brand with their anamorphic lenses. Unbelievable quality, they're my go-to BMPCC4K lenses these days.

    • indeed from abit of digging, their mobile camera lenses add-on are better than Moment's

being abit off-topic Quick question for filming close-ups would you use a portrait or an anamorphic lens for a phone?

      • +1

Anamorphic isn’t good for close-ups… you want a macro lens for that.

Re: Sirui Anamorphics. A bit of a shame the new 35mm isn’t available for Fuji X but I’m waiting for a ~20mm Anamorphic. The SLR Magic Anamorphot can only go as wide as 23mm, which isn’t bad, but I prefer anamorphic looks a little wider than that (Such as smart phone anamorphics).

        • By the time you add in any crop factors with the Sirui anamorphics, you can't get that wide at all. The 35mm behaves more like a 50mm to my feel (even if it is slightly wider technically after crop & desqueeze).

The real issue is the minimum focus distance - 85cm is huge! It makes using them in tight spaces really difficult.

I'll buy whatever anamorphics they bring out because they're stunning, but I'm really hoping for something around an 18 to 24mm.

I haven't used anamorphics for phone, but you'd really want a macro lens for that. It's actually quite hard to get in close with anamorphics for video cameras.

Can this be used with the Sirui mobile lenses? Does it balance ok when they are attached to a phone?

    • +2

Hi sydneyphotographer01 yes this gimbal can be used and balanced with the current model SIRUI mobile macro, wide angle, anamorphic, fisheye and telephoto lenses.

  • @SiruiAustralia
    2 questions:
    - Is there a way to use this with a GoPro?
    - Is shipping to Brisbane $15.95? that is quite a hefty charge…
    I am very tempted…

    • +1

Hi Cristtos there is a GoPro adaptor available from pgytech (google "pgytech gopro adaptor") that will allow for this.

When this coupon is applied the free shipping option will be enabled so there will be no charge for shipping.

      • Order placed.
