FWIW be aware that they contain gelatin and are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.

    • Neither are the honey bears.

      • Yep, it’s impossible to find gelatin free candies from most shops. IKEA sells plenty though, they are made in Europe and they don’t use gelatin there anymore.

        • Natural Confectionary Co is releasing a vegan version.

5 Pieces equals to 1 Portion

    1 Portion of what ?

    • +7

      1 portion of 5 pieces

    • 1 portion of 5 pieces.

      Dammit beat me to it.

    Minimum order quantity: 2

    • That is 100 portions !!!

      • Okay, order 6 bags then.

Same unit price but can buy fewer pieces of portions.

  • Too many boring jellies.

  • "No artificial colours" - so what does it contain?

"Glucose Syrup (Wheat or Corn), Cane Sugar, Thickener (Dextrin Roasted Starch, Acid Treated Starch or Starch Acetate)(Wheat), Gelatine, Food Acid (Citric), Colours (Titanium Dioxide, Carminic Acid, Copper Chlorophyllin, Turmeric, Paprika Oleoresin, Carotene, Vegetable Carbon), Flavours. Contains Wheat. May contain Milk."

    • Carminic Acid

That's disappointing. At least it isn't crunchy like the insects. Would be nice if they used some plant alternative.

  • Allens lollies are usually pretty slimey, they taste aight though

    • They’re the opposite of slimey in my experience, and I have lots and lots of experience.

Sure you’re not thinking of haribo?

      • Nah haribo is good in my experience.

For me allens pythons are always coated in this slimey powdery stuff

          Slimey powder?

I can’t comment on pythons. Haven’t bought one since they halved in size. They’re dead to me.

          • @watts: Slimey powder is the best way I can describe it really. They're dry but slippery and leave residue on your hands and on the packet

            • @[Deactivated]: same gripe with mixed bags like this? I’d be surprised if you do.

And, wtf is a 'retro man'?

"It's the perfect mix, with a favourite for everyone: teeth, pineapples, racing cars, strawberries & cream, milk bottles, raspberries, lips, honey bears, cola bottles and retro man"

      Basically an orange flavour

    Starburst is where it's at.

    • +1

1 kg starburst wrapped lollies at reject shop garden city WA $6.00

    • Starburst lollies have too much citric acid added to them. When I buy gummies, I want sweet, not tart.

  • I got mine today, so Devo there were only 5 racing cars in the whole 1kg 😥

    • Too quick to end up in your packet?

  • I think I prefer the National Confectionary Company Party Mix.

  • I just opened a packet of the snakes. These have got to be some of the most boring, uninspired flavours I've ever eaten. All I taste is sweet sugar and some vague hints of some vague fruits. I much prefer Natural Confectionery and Starburst.
