Greetings everyone, Cashrewards currently has 25% cashback off a range of products at BWS and this can be stacked with some current very competitive offers.

Note: There is also currently a $10 off offer within the cart for some Everyday Rewards accounts which bring these prices down a further $10! If you sign into your everyday rewards account on the website, it should automatically show up in the cart.

Note: There's no cap of cashback on these items, so can get as many as you'd like.

    Quick tip on those Cat Amongst The Pigeon wines. They show as on special for $15 each, but a discount kicks in when 6 are added to cart :

    Cat Amongst The Pigeons - Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon - 6 x $21.00 $81.00

    $81/6 = $13.50 per bottle, less than the $15 special it seems.

  • Went with Hendricks, Makers 46, Crankshaft case, Cat Amongst the Pigeons Barossa Shiraz x 6.

    Full price was about $390. With discounts was $306. Got the $10 off, so $296. Hoping for ~25% cashback ~$60 depending on GST, so $236. And got the 2000 points bonus, I think.

    Nervously awaiting the cashback confirmation, but if it comes through I think I did ok there.

  • I ended up with a bottle each of Chivas Regal Extra and Johnny Walker Green @ $124 which dropped $10 (whatever that random deal is) to $114. $31 cashback through Cashrewards and 2000 Everyday Rewards points which brings it to $74 net. Thanks OP!

  • It seems the product number code mentioned here is different with product code in BWS, so that might be a reason why people are not getting 25% cashback back only

    • Don't think this is necessarily the case. Crankshaft IPA for example shares the same product code for single/4 pack/carton, and it's the same as the code displayed on Cashrewards. At least I can't see a different code listed anywhere?

    Ordered at 2:02, order accepted by store 2:09, order delivered by 2:45.

    Yes although prices are often higher than elsewhere, other than specials, their ordering process for pick up or delivery is usually flawless.

    $10 off didn't come up in the website. Opened it up on the app, the $10 applied in the cart, went back to the browser, and the $10 was there.
    Glenlivet 12 Year Old for ~$41.25 - not bad at all!

    Bought a Glenlivet and 8 craft beers. Net cost was $132.10, no wait the whisky was on sale… was $109.10, no wait, the craft beer's discounted by 25%… was $96.83, no wait I have $10 off… was $86.83, no wait I get $10 of Rewards points… was $76.83, no wait I get Cash Rewards… was $52.87…

    Hi guys. TA from Cashrewards here. We’ve seen many hundreds of sales come through successfully already today, but I’m also reading a number of comments that some are yet to receive tracking. Cashrewards will be in contact with BWS first thing tomorrow for answers.

    I noticed the SB rep has just made a comment here about their recent BWS promo, and whilst I suspect the same issue may be at play here, I obviously can’t confirm until BWS clarifies. Please be patient - I will provide an update tomorrow. Thank you.

        Thanks for the kind words. Kills me when I read comments about non-tracking, so I wanted to get on the front foot with this. It’s unfortunate that technology sometimes lets us down (even through no fault of our own), but please know we’re always doing everything we can to resolve issues as quickly as possible. I personally never want to let anyone down.

      Update 9:25am 04/09/20: TA from Cashrewards here. BWS has confirmed they have a tracking/reporting issue that's affecting a number of sales and have therefore asked us to completely pause the promo & store immediately (0% cashback). I will provide more information on next steps as it comes to hand. Sincere apologies on behalf of Cashrewards & BWS - this one is totally out of our control.

      • I would have no trouble believing BWS's glitchy website is to blame.

        • Their website is one of the worst I've seen, to the point of being unusable at times

        • That sounds about right. Hopefully CR can resolve this maybe independently. I have the receipts from BWS, and the time stamps of me clicking on BWS website at the same time when I made the purchase. They can be seen on the CR website.

        I'm hoping Y'all fix it TA, I only bought because of this deal; was super careful the tracking thing thought it was working, I took a screenshot at end as paranoid!

        I had the same issue - placed 3 orders - each time i closed the browser tab, reloaded from cashrewards, and waited for the "loading merchant data" redirect.
        I got 2 tracking notifications, but i never got a tracking notification for the 3rd order.

        I took screenshots while i did the cashback (as i am normally paranoid about whether it will track or not)

        So seems to be similar issue to others, interesting that 2/3 worked though. I did have a gap of maybe 20mins between my 2nd and 3rd order so maybe thats why - it had load or tracking issues by the time I placed the 3rd order or something?

        Update 4:30pm 04/09/20: TA from Cashrewards here. We've just sent out this email to everyone that clicked from Cashrewards to BWS during the promo. Please do not submit any claims at this stage. I will advise next steps when we receive clarity from BWS, hopefully next week. Once again, apologies for the issue and please have an incredible weekend :)

          Update 6pm 11/09/20: TA from Cashrewards here. Been a hectic week for all involved trying to get this issue sorted. Please note that a recent change made by BWS has affected tracking for all cashback and rewards partners, not just Cashrewards. We'll be sending this email tonight to all those that clicked during the promo. Again, all I can do is apologise on behalf of BWS and hopefully you'll all have your rewards in your accounts real soon. We're doing everything we can for a speedy resolution.     If I purchased something from the standard rate products in the same transaction as the Group A items, that won't affect me receiving the 25% rate on the latter, right?

    Is the 25% cashback over?
    It says expires: Sep 4, 2020, 11:59:00 PM on cashrewards website though.

  • No tracking for me yet either, however 2 other purchases from other stores yesterday did track, but I didn't receive any E-mail, so log in and check the website if you are just relying on email notifications.

    I ordered 1 x Maker's Mark 46 and 1 x Hendricks's Gin but both on seperate orders, tracking when through for the second order but not the first. Before each order re-enabled tracking by going to BWS via the CashRewards link.

    Also just recieved the following email from CashRewards in regards to the issue:

    Regarding your BWS tracking

    Firstly, we'd like to thank you for shopping with Cashrewards.

    We are contacting you because we recorded BWS click activity on your account between 03/09/20 and 04/09/20.

    Unfortunately, BWS has made us aware of an issue with order reporting during this period and your purchase may not have tracked to your Cashrewards account. If this is the case, please do not submit a claim at this time.

    We would like to assure you that BWS is in the process of identifying and fixing the issue. We are awaiting advice and will reach out to you with an update when we receive further information directly from the store.

    Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will be in touch again soon.

  • I spent $195 3X Glenlivet 12YO. Didn't track. I didn't even get a tax invoice from BWS. Just got an SMS that my order was ready for pickup.

    • Check your spam folder. Mine ended there along with cashreward message for not tracking my sale.

    • My BWS email came quite a few hours after I picked it up after receiving text message.
