    50Hz ? A BIG no no …!

it seems cheap, but the tv being a 50Hz set it a downer

  • mmm 50hz, im pretty sure i looked at this model like 2 years ago. all new sony leds are 3D only.
i think you can get some great deals for less than $1000 now on tvs.
good tv but i would look around for something which is more updated.

Motion blur in the big time. This set is definately 50 hertz refresh. Experts agree that 100 hertz refresh is an essential. Sony use this model as bait advertising to make you consider the brand. Recommend that you do not buy this model.

  • i saw a 55inch Sony LCD at Costco for $1299. but im guessing after the above comments… probably would be 50hz. should have got a model number but i failed :(

  • No wonder its under $1000 its only a LEV TV

    • Oops, thanks for the heads up. I hadn't had my coffee before posting this. Fixed.

piece of crap, only 50hz and not even 3d. please make a good deal, we saw a $750 51" samsung 3d plasma on here and that will be the benchmark for tv deals for a while yet!!

    • +2

We can do the Samsung 51" plasma for $799 (free delivery available) if you're interested: http://www.bigbrownbox.com.au/samsung-ps51d550-plasma-tv-ser…

      • This TV is not a good deal but nice to see you match the samsung.

      • Many of us work Mon-Fri. Are you able to deliver on the weekend like other retailers can?

        • Hi, at this stage we can't - but we are looking to bring this service in asap.

      • Pity the delivery is unavailable for my postcode (Orange, NSW, 2800). Why's that?

        • Hi Aldog, if you call us on 1300 369 265 we can discuss your delivery options.

Currently we only offer free delivery to areas we can service with our own delivery trucks to ensure your new TV doesn't get broken in transit.

  • this TV is $899 at Costco - regular price. can upload image if someone wants

    • yeah, i saw it too in costco. not bargain for the price listed here.

    • that's great…. I live in SA/NT/WA, can I have it delivered?…. or perhaps there is a Costco store nearby I can pick it up from?
